Triggered by an unexpected tragedy, gay artist and activist Daniel, who is also a deeply religious man, tries hard to make the local community grieve together.

The family tries to persuade Maria to see the body and identify herself. It is a prerequisite for realizing that she is dead. Accepting this fact is supposed to bring relief to her and her relatives. But Maria rebels. He refuses to die.

He feels that he made a wrong decision, but it's already too late.
