Season 1 of Stargirl is really damn good! I love almost every episode and think every character is great. The main plot felt a little rushed at times and I think if the season had 2-3 more episodes, it'd be even better. But as is, a great start to a great show.

The opening 10 or so minutes are fantastic and felt like a film and I adored it. The character work is also really solid here and my only main negative is just the ending didn't work too well.

Had a lot of good moments, still, but some bad drama kind of holds it back and it just stalls for a lot of the time.

I love how it ramps up everything without feeling like a true climax. It's a really fun episode and the end is really crushing.
