STAR TREK: THE ANIMATED SERIES RATINGS

So let's say that the main reason to watch this AS is that it features (almost) all the actors from TOS voicing our beloved characters. I mean the voice-acting itself isn't particularly great, but only the fact that it comes from TOS cast, makes it worth it. Also, G.Roddenbery created the show (i am positive it would have been terrible without his involvement) and most of the scripts are pretty awesome actually (especially ''Yesteryear'') and they were certainly groundbreaking for a morning cartoon in the 70's. Unfortunately pretty much all of them are rushed and simplistically made with too much exposition in order to fit the 20min limit per episode
I have to warn you though that if you can't stand horrible animation, then you shouldn't watch the series, even i, after struggling to get used to it, i got bored to it after some episodes and eventually almost hated it. The scenery looks good, but the characters (every single one of them) are incredibly lifeless and robotic. It's like the creators didn't try at all to portray them propertly. Yes i say all that by according to 70's (and even 50's/60's) standards. It's honestly some of the worst animation ever
Despite all that i was quite light with my ratings, because, as i said before, after all it was intended as a 70's morning cartoon show...
