This was unexpected. An unconventional slow burning Norwegian horror movie about children with superpowers that builds up the intensity so little by little that you begin to realize you sat the last 30 minutes on the edge of the seat after the credits start to roll. Very well done. Very Stephen-Kingish. And the Kids are beyond fantastic too. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this movie- I've been unpacking it for days & keep finding more & more things I love about it! Definitely should be experienced on the big screen. It is so unique and mesmerizing and thought provoking and stunning in pretty much every way. I know this is vague, but I don't want to spoil it! I am now a big Edgar Wright fan (director/writer)- after watching this movie I looked him up & discovered he's directed so many other brilliant movies! Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Baby Driver, Shaun of the Dead, The World's End, Hot Fuzz... I will now watch anything he touches! - Ilana (USA)
