Ride of the Valkyries — Richard Wagner
Richard Wagner (1813 – 1883) was a German composer, theater director, and conductor who is chiefly known for his operas. Most of his operas are about stories from German mythology.
The "Ride of the Valkyries" refers to the Die Walküre (The Valkyrie), the second opera constituting Richard Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen (The Ring of the Nibelung) and is one of Richard Wagner's best-known pieces.
