Neill Blomkamp is a South African-Canadian film director and screenwriter who is known for the science fiction films District 9, Elysium and Chappie. He also directed the supernatural horror film Demonic and the 2007 short film Halo: Landfall, based on the Microsoft science fiction video game franchise. He had a child from his wife Terri Tatchell.

Zachary Edward "Zack" Snyder (born March 1, 1966) is an American film director, film producer, and screenwriter, best known for action and science fiction films. Snyder made his feature film debut with the 2004 remake Dawn of the Dead and has gone on to be known for his comic book movies and superhero films, including 300 (2007), Watchmen (2009), Man of Steel (2013) and its upcoming sequel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). Snyder is the co-founder of Cruel and Unusual Films, a production company he established in 2004, alongside his wife Deborah Snyder and producing partner Wesley Coller.

Filmmaker Len Wiseman's career began through his work in the art department on the blockbuster hits like Godzilla (1998), Men in Black (1997), and Independence Day (1996). His design talents soon got him behind the camera directing commercials for PlayStation, Time Warner, Oracle, Intel, and Activision, and quickly lead to work in music videos. Len received numerous award nominations, including Best Art Direction at the 2002 MTV Awards for Quarashi's Screaming Masterpiece (2005) (aka Stick 'Em Up) and Best Director at the 2002 MVPA Awards for the Rufus Wainwright video "Across the Universe." In addition, Wiseman directed music videos for Megadeth, En Vogue, Static-X, Paul Oakenfold and Brooke Allison.

James Mangold is an American film and television director, screenwriter and producer. Films he has directed include Girl, Interrupted (1999), Walk the Line (2005), which he also co-wrote, the 2007 remake 3:10 to Yuma (2007), The Wolverine (2013), and Logan (2017).

Mangold also wrote and directed Cop Land (1997), starring Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro, Harvey Keitel, and Ray Liotta.

David F. Sandberg is a Swedish film director from Jönköping who is known for directing the superhero comedy film Shazam and the horror films Lights Out and Annabelle: Creation. He lives on the autism spectrum. He also provided the voice of Mister Mind at the end of Shazam and made several short horror films throughout his career.

Alex Garland is an English novelist, screenwriter, film producer and director. He is best known for the films Ex Machina (2015) and Annihilation (2018).

Garland's others works as a writer includes The Beach (2000), 28 Days Later (2002), Sunshine (2007), Never Let Me Go (2011) and Dredd (2012).

He is also the co-writer on the video game Enslaved: Odyssey to the West.

In 2015, Garland made his directorial debut with Ex Machina and was nominated for an Oscar in the Best Writing, Original Screenplay category.

Steven S. DeKnight was born in Millville, New Jersey, USA. He is known for Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018), Angel (1999) and Daredevil (2015). He is married to Jaime Slater.

Robert Schwentke was born in 1968 in Stuttgart, Germany. He is a writer and director, known for The Captain (2017), Red (2010) and Eierdiebe (2003).

Born in Norwalk, Connecticut, Caruso came west to play tennis and study Television Production at Pepperdine University. Interned at Disney Studios in the Product Placement department and later hooked up with Director John Badham, who mentored him into a second-unit director, after Badham lost his 2nd-unit director Rob Cohen to a first-unit directing career. He hooked up with writer Scott Rosenberg, who penned a short film for him entitled, Cyclops, Baby (1997). The film helped launch Caruso's directing career.

Jon Cassar was born on 27 April 1958 in Malta. He is a producer and director, known for 24 (2001), Forsaken (2015) and When the Bough Breaks (2016).

Aleksander Bach was born as a son of a Polish photographer in Lublin, Poland. He emigrated with his parents to Germany in the early 80's. He attended to the Düsseldorf Institute for Music and Media where he graduated in Audio and Video Engineering, Dipl. Ing. (FH) in 2006. In parallel he studied piano at the Robert-Schumann University of Music in Düsseldorf in 2000-2006. Having independently shot several music videos and a music documentary in China and Japan, Aleksander took his post-graduate in Advertising Film at the acclaimed Baden-Württemberg/Ludwigsburg film academy in 2009. Between 2008 and 2011 Aleksander received several awards. Upcoming, Hughes will debut THE HITMAN'S WIFE'S BODYGUARD, which he directed for Lionsgate, starring Ryan Reynolds, Salma Hayek, and Samuel L. Jackson. The film follows the world's most lethal odd couple, bodyguard Michael Bryce (Reynolds) and hitman Darius Kincaid (Jackson) on another life-threatening mission. The film will be released by Lionsgate on June 16, 2021. The feature is the follow up to the smash hit THE HITMAN'S BODYGUARD, also starring Reynolds and Jackson, which was #1 at the box office for three consecutive weeks and grossed over $180 million worldwide.

Additionally, next year Sony will release Hughes' highly-anticipated feature THE MAN FROM TORONTO, which he directed, and features another all-star cast including Woody Harrelson, Kevin Hart and Kaley Cuoco. The film is centered on the world's deadliest assassin and New York's biggest screw-up being mistaken for one another at an Airbnb rental. It will debut on January 14, 2022.

Previously, Hughes served as the director of the most recent installment of 'The Expendables' franchise, THE EXPENDABLES 3 for which he was handpicked by Sylvester Stallone to helm. Starring Stallone, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson and Arnold Schwarzenegger, the film was released by Lionsgate on August 11, 2014.

In 2010, Hughes directed, wrote and produced the modern-western thriller RED HILL. The film, which marked Hughes' feature directorial debut, premiered to rave reviews at the Berlin Film Festival - where it was one of the hottest sales and the fasting-selling film at the festival that year - and went on to be celebrated by audiences and critics alike.

Antal was born in Los Angeles, California of Hungarian ancestry. He moved to Hungary in 1991 to study at the Hungarian Film Academy. After graduating, he went on to work in the film and television industry. In 2005, he moved back to his hometown of Los Angeles to pursue success in Hollywood.

He is best known for writing and directing the Hungarian-language film Control (2003), which won numerous awards, including the Award of the Youth at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Hugo (main prize) at the Chicago International Film Festival, as well as a European Film Award nomination for Best Director. The backdrop of the film is the Budapest Metro subway system. Kontroll, refers to the act of ticket inspectors checking to ensure a rider has paid their fare.

Antal's first American feature film, Vacancy (2007), starring Kate Beckinsale and Luke Wilson, was released on April 20, 2007. His second American film, Armored (2009), was released in December 2009.

Robert Rodriguez hired him to direct Predators (2010).

Alan Taylor is an American film and television director from San Francisco known for directing episodes of HBO shows such as The Sopranos, Deadwood, Game of Thrones, and Sex in the City. He directed the feature films Thor: The Dark World, Palookaville, The Emperor's New Clothes, The Many Saints of Newark, and Terminator Genisys.

Andrew Stanton has been a major creative force at Pixar Animation Studios since 1990, when he became the second animator and ninth employee to join the company's elite group of computer animation pioneers. A native of Rockport, Massachusetts, Stanton earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Character Animation from California Institute of the Arts (Cal Arts), where he completed two student films. In the 1980s, he launched his professional career in Los Angeles animating for Bill Kroyer's Kroyer Films studio, and writing for Ralph Bakshi's production of "Mighty Mouse, The New Adventures" (1987).

Dan Trachtenberg is an American filmmaker and podcast host. He directed the 2016 horror-thriller film 10 Cloverfield Lane which earned him a Directors Guild of America Award nomination for Outstanding Directing - First-Time Feature Film. Trachtenberg was one of three hosts of The Totally Rad Show podcast and was a former co-host of the Geekdrome podcast. He also directed episodes for the Ctrl+Alt+Chicken podcast. All three programs were hosted at Revision3.Trachtenberg is also the director of the 2011 short film Portal: No Escape, an episode of Black Mirror entitled "Playtest" and the director of various television commercials and public service announcements. He directed the series premiere episode of The Boys, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video in July 2019. In 2021, he directed the premiere episode of the Peacock series The Lost Symbol where he also served as an executive producer. He has upcoming projects lined-up including directing the fifth Predator film and a TV series adaptation of Waterworld.

Joseph Kosinski is a director whose uncompromising style has quickly made a mark in the filmmaking zeitgeist. His four theatrical releases have grossed $2.2 billion worldwide and been nominated for 7 Academy Awards and 2 Grammys.

His film debut, "Tron: Legacy" for Walt Disney Studios, grossed $400 million and was nominated for an Academy Award for Sound Editing and a Grammy for the groundbreaking score by Daft Punk.

For his sophomore feature, Kosinski directed and produced the original science-fiction thriller "Oblivion" for Universal Pictures, starring Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman. With a score by M83, it grossed $288 million.

Kosinski's third feature was the critically acclaimed drama "Only The Brave" for Black Label Media and Columbia Pictures. The film stars Josh Brolin, Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly and Jeff Bridges.

Joseph reunited with Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, and Jennifer Connelly for "Top Gun: Maverick". The film grossed $1.5 billion worldwide, won the National Board of Review for Best Film, and was nominated for 6 Academy Awards including Best Picture. In addition, Joseph was nominated for Best Director by the Directors Guild of America.

Kosinski's "Spiderhead", a Netflix release, is based on the short story by acclaimed author George Saunders. The film starring Chris Hemsworth, Miles Teller, and Jurnee Smollet was #1 on the streaming service and crossed 100 million total view hours in its first 100 days.

Joseph is currently directing and producing "F1" in conjunction with Apple Original Films, Warner Brothers, Bruckheimer Films, Plan B, and 7-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton. The film stars Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon and Javier Bardem and is scheduled for release in June 2025.

Camille Delamarre was born on 3 October 1979. He is a director and editor, known for Last Call (2013), The Transporter Refueled (2015) and Brick Mansions (2014).

Born in 1973 in Hannover, Germany, Dennis Gansel studied at Munich Film School HFF. Remarkably his first feature length movie Das Phantom (2000) was shot while he was still studying. Between his movies Girls on Top (2001), Before the Fall (2004) and The Wave (2008) he spent a long time struggling for the budget of the films. During these times he shot commercials. Dennis Gansel lives in Berlin.

Dean Devlin has produced and co-written some of the most successful feature films of all time -- Independence Day, Stargate, and Godzilla -- which collectively grossed more than 1.4 billion dollars worldwide. In May of 2001, he founded Electric Entertainment, where he serves as chairman and CEO.
