The murderer has groomed a number of schizophrenics to commit carefully synchronized violent crimes on the same day in Malmo and Copenhagen.

A woman is found murdered in the middle of the Oresund Bridge - on the border between Sweden and Denmark. What looks at first to be one murder, however, turns out to be two.

The crime spree is resolved. However, many loose threads remain.

After the murder on the bridge, the killer makes his presence known and chooses a tabloid journalist to act as a contact with the outside world.

To draw attention to the increased number of people falling through the cracks of society, the killer kidnaps a homeless man and demands a large ransom from four landlords for his survival. So what is the price of a human being after all?

Knowing the killer has carefully planned his crimes, Saga and Martin wonder whether they can catch him off guard by doing something he doesn't expect.

A rogue policeman is killed by someone in uniform. The detectives believe that the killer for whom they are searching was the killer. They also now suspect that the killer may indeed be one of them - that he is actually is a cop.

A bus-load of children is kidnapped and are threatened to be killed. The police believe that the kidnapper is the killer, and the hunt continues.

Because the detectives suspect that a policeman is involved, a profile of the killer is developed and several police fit the profile and a search among them begins. The hunt continues and a particular suspect is found.

Things are brought closer to home when the criminal's mask is removed.

Nick Burkhardt, a promising Portland homicide detective, told nobody he's been seeing visions of people 'transforming' into monsters when he looks at them. While investigating the murder and disappearance of two girls, he realizes it's a Grimm family gift, which passes from his aunt Marie Kessler when she is dying from cancer. She also gives him a mysterious key. Nick becomes her attacker's next target, narrowly escaping. Nick discreetly uses his gift to track down a postman, who turns out to be a descendant of werewolf lineage, and who helps him find the violent monster.

In the first part of the premiere, Mike plays Cupid for Mandy by setting her up on a blind-date with Kyle, one of his employees who he thinks would be the perfect guy for her. But Mike's set-up gets off track when Kyle accidentally meets Kristin. Meanwhile at work, Mike's long-time boss and friend, Ed, announces that he's grounding Mike from their catalogue's international photo shoots and putting him in charge of the company's webpage.

A case of breaking and entering introduces Nick and Hank to a mysterious family whose cultural background blurs the line of right and wrong. Meanwhile, Nick tasks Monroe with safeguarding Aunt Marie.

During a flash-mob on a bus, a lawyer is killed with a stunning overdose of bee venom, but it fits no geographical origin. Monroe and the Grim records help Nick work out it must be the work of a feral bee queen, the sworn enemy of Hexenbiests like Adalind. Trailing a professor-beekeeper and the other twelve attendants of a bee-keeping convention, Nick and his partner Hank find them congregating and get attacked by an unnatural bee swarm.

Blutbad Hap Lasser coincidentally survives a cunning arson attack which makes his home explode, two months after his brother died in a similar fire. Monroe reluctantly takes him in, also as a favor to Hap's sister, Monroe's own ex-lover Angelina. She returns to revenge both brothers and hates Grimms but resumes nocturnal hunt fun with Monroe. Lieutenant Peter Orson didn't call either case arson, but lost his own brother in a fire which may be a Blutbad's doing.

Nick investigates the death of a music teacher who was eaten alive by rats whille locked in his own car. Nick and Hank are led to a expelled music prodigy who has a strange sort for vengeance against those who wronged him.

Nick learns that a series of disappearances, rapes-and possibly murders-of beautiful women in the Portland area is connected to a honeymoon hotel where the owner harbors a hypnotic power.

Mike feels let down when his daughters aren't into celebrating Halloween with him the way they used to. He decides that his two-year-old grandson, Boyd, can be his perfect trick or treat partner. But Kristin, Boyd's mother, adamantly tells him that she doesn't want her son to go out on Halloween. Mike sneaks him out -- with a plan to get the child home before Kristin gets back from work. When Mike, dressed as John Wayne from "The Green Berets," gets to Ed's house with Boyd, they are greeted at the door by Ed's lady friend, Elvira.

When Vanessa forces a reluctant Mike to attend Grandparents Day at their grandson Boyd's preschool, Mike manages to insult the daycare teacher and Boyd gets kicked out of school. Boyd's mom, Kristin, tells Mike that he now has to look after him, so Mike takes the two-year-old to work with him. Meanwhile, after an elderly looking grandmother at the Grandparents Day event thinks she and Vanessa are the same age, Vanessa goes out of her way to look more youthful -- hoping no one sees her buying clothes from a boutique where her 17-year-old daughter, Mandy, shops.

Mike is outnumbered by his wife and daughters when they all agree that baby proofing the house is a good idea. But soon Vanessa has second thoughts when she finds herself home by herself babysitting Boyd and can't release the toilet seat's complicated childproof latch. Meanwhile, Mike thinks it's time for Mandy to earn her own money and gets her a job delivering pizzas -- without first consulting Vanessa.

Mike must decide which way he will vote when the all-male Outdoor Man's softball team gets a mandate to allow females to play. Also, while helping a reluctant Mandy fill out college applications, Kristin makes some decisions about her own future. Mike hopes Mandy will go to his alma mater of University of Michigan, but Vanessa wants her to attend her alma mater, the rival Ohio State.

Mike, amazed that Mandy might finally have found a passion for something, takes her under his wing at work when she offers to start an Internet campaign to keep Ed's favorite barber shop hangout from closing. Also, an exhausted Vanessa insists that she can still take care of the household despite her hectic work schedule, until she falls asleep during her own business presentation.

When a hiking couple is saved from a drug trafficker from what appears to be a "Feral Beast" nick investigation into it leads to the suspicious that it is linked with a 10-year old missing persons case.

A man named Leonard "Lenny" Drake is found dead in a garbage truck and Nick and Hank investigate the case. They find blood in the dumpster near his building and a trail of blood to the parking garage. The manager explains that the tenant was a violent man that lived in his apartment with the gorgeous Natalie Havershaw. On the previous night, they had an argument and the tenants Marty Burgess first and the lawyer Mason Snyder then had come to protect her. Marty returned to his apartment while Lenny and Mason continued to argue. Then Mason escorted her to her car and she left the building to check in a hotel. Nick and Hank visit Marty at his junk shop and Nick sees that Marty looked like a mouse. Then they visit Mason and Nick sees that the lawyer looked like a snake. Nick visits Monroe and learns that the creatures are the harmless and cowardly Mauzhertz and the dangerous and lethal Lausenschlange respectively. Then Monroe receives a phone call relative to work and Nick leaves him, but Monroe receives a message instead. When another man is found dead in the dumpster of a repair shop in the same "modus-operandis" Nick believes the cases are connected.
