- Alexander Babara was born in the former USSR, in the city of Chisinau (Kishinev), the capital of the Republic of Moldova. He is fluent in Russian, Romanian, Ukrainian and English. He's been an artist his whole life. At an early age he started break dancing, then writing music, rapping and has always looked for a way to express himself in an artistic way. He was raised by his mother, a cook and his step father, a farmer. After leaving Moldova at the age of 22 for the American Dream with only a friend and $400 in his pocket, barely speaking any English he settled in New Orleans, LA and fell in love with acting and the city. The son of a 2nd generation cotton farmer turned salesman, and an artistic, free spirited mother, Erik Valdez was born in Lubbock, TX. Kyle Gallner was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He started his career by following his sister along to one of her auditions.
Perhaps best know for his role as Cassidy "Beaver" Casablancas on the CW's lone hit series, Veronica Mars (2004), actor Kyle Gallner had been appearing in films and on television since his early adolescence. Born on Oct. 22, 1986 and originally from Philadelphia, PA, Gallner made his first screen appearance on an episode of Third Watch (1999). After making his feature debut with a small role in Michael Showalter's bizarre comedy Wet Hot American Summer (2001) (2001), he returned to television with episodes of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999) and Touched by an Angel (1994). He next appeared in the series finale of The District (2000) before playing his first recognizable role - that of Bart Allen (a.k.a. "The Flash") on Smallville (2001) during the 2004-05 season.
In 2005, Gallner joined the cast of Veronica Mars (2004) for the last three episodes of the first season, giving him the opportunity to carry over his role of Beaver into the next season. Jonathan Lippert Keltz was born in New York City, to Karin Lippert, who worked in public relations, and Martin Keltz, the co-founder and President of Scholastic Productions. He remained in the city through pre-school before moving upstate to Woodstock, New York, where he attended Poughkeepsie Day School through 8th grade. He moved with his family to Toronto, Canada to attend high school at Northern Secondary School and although he had done various theater productions prior to this, his professional career began shortly after his 16th birthday after signing with his agent.
Keltz was inspired to pursue acting by his first drama teacher, Victoria Silvestri, Kenneth Branagh's performance in Hamlet, and a Master Class Workshop with Alan Arkin. He got his start in films in Toronto appearing opposite Heather Graham in "Cake" and playing Chris Cooper's son in "Breach" for Universal. Jonathan co-starred in Disney's "Prom" and he reprised his role on the final season of "Entourage" as Ari Gold's loyal assistant, 'Jake Steinberg.' He had lead roles in two independent features: "Playback", with Christian Slater, and "Transgression", opposite Michael Ironside.
