The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz, and Edge and Christian battle it out in a TLC match for the WWF Tag Team Championship. The Undertaker goes toe-to-toe against Triple H. Shane McMahon clashes with his father Mr. McMahon in a Street Fight with special guest referee, Mick Foley.Very little to complain about, a fantastic show. Answering many questions while asking many new ones, like "why, Austin, why?!" From Benoit/Angle, to TLC 2, to the main event, everything got its proper time and delivered exactly what WrestleMania promises.
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsYokozunaBret HartLarry Pfohl10th WrestleMania on March 20th, 1994 which sees the return to the venue of Madison Square Garden in New York. Due to both Lex Luger and Bret Hart being named co-winners of the 1994 Royal Rumble, both challenge champion Yokozuna. From the phenomenal opening match, to the brutal ladder match, to the strange finish of the main event, a definite classic for longtime fans.
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsBryan DanielsonRandy OrtonDave BautistaWith a year of frustration with The Authority, Daniel Bryan seeks to win it all on the grandest stage of them all, Bray Wyatt looks to get into John Cena's head and Brock Lesnar does the unthinkable. The best mixture of feel-good and shocking moments at a WrestleMania. The rise of the unlikely hero in two excellent matches, great storytelling in all matches and the shocking and upsetting ending to the legendary Streak.
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsAdam CopelandMark CalawayRandy OrtonThe Rated-R Superstar Edge attempts to do the unthinkable by becoming the first man to ever defeat the Undertaker at WrestleMania. For the second year in a row, Undertaker is looking to claim not just another soul but the World Heavyweight Championship as well. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair puts his Hall of Fame career on the line against Shawn Michaels. Randy Orton defends the WWE Championship against John Cena and Triple H. The Big Show goes one on one with Floyd "Money" Mayweather. One of the more emotionally charged 'Manias. Awesome matches throughout the night, particularly the World Title main event and the excellent career threatening match.
- DirectorKerwin SilfiesStarsJim HellwigHulk HoganAndré René RoussimoffSixth WrestleMania on April 1st, 1990 at the SkyDome in Toronto, Canada, making it the first WrestleMania to be held outside of the United States. The main event of is "the Ultimate Challenge" - Hulk Hogan against the Ultimate Warrior.A great show and engaging from start to finish, and despite the main event being a little too gimmicky, its still another iconic match you'd expect from the show.
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsPaul LevesqueChris BenoitShawn MichaelsTriple H puts his Heavyweight Championship on the line in a Triple Threat Match against Chris Benoit and Shawn Michaels. WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero defends against Kurt Angle. Plus, Kane faces the returning Undertaker, Goldberg battles Brock Lesnar, The Rock and Mick Foley face Evolution, and much more.Another show filled with great matches and two phenomenal main event performances from Eddie and....that other guy. Shame about those two pieces of meat walking into each other, i.e. Brock and Goldberg.
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsDwayne JohnsonHulk HoganChris JerichoAs the nWo continues their crusade against the WWF, wrestling's past meets wrestling's future when Hollywood Hulk Hogan meets the People's Champion, The Rock. Meanwhile, Tripe H faces the greatest challenge of his career when he challenges Chris Jericho for the Undisputed Championship, with his vengeful ex-wife Stephanie McMahon in Jericho's corner. No match was bad here. Rock/Hogan is a bit overrated but the crowd was so electric you didn't care, shame they were exhausted for the main event. The bands were pointless but the Hardcore title spots were fun. Overall the damn fine show
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsMark CalawayShawn MichaelsPaul LevesqueWidely recognized as one of the most breathtaking matches of all time, the Legend who is 16-0 at WrestleMania takes on the Icon known as Mr. WrestleMania. Undertaker and Shawn Michaels deliver an epic clash for the ages.A night full of good matches which unfortunately ended up in the wrong order. All matches were given a proper feud recap, two average world title matches, a great showing by Ricky Steamboat, and the Match of the Century from Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. Pure perfection!
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsSid EudyMark CalawayBret HartThe Undertaker takes on Sycho Sid in a No Disqualification Match with the WWF Championship up for grabs. Bret "Hit Man" Hart faces "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in a Submission Match with special guest referee Ken Shamrock and more.Despite the average main event, this was a great show filled with great matches, especially the brutal Hart/Austin submission match.
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsColby LopezBrock LesnarJoe Anoa'iIt’s the biggest event in WWE history: WrestleMania 31! Brock Lesnar defends his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns, plus each match from the 4-hour extravaganza!Questionable buildup aside, a great show with some memorable spots and a shocking and welcome end to the lackluster main event. Finally, a Money in the Bank cash in at WrestleMania!
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsShawn MichaelsSteve AustinMike Tyson"Stone Cold" Steve Austin battles Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship with Mike Tyson as special guest enforcer. The Undertaker battles Kane. The Rock defends the Intercontinental Championship against Ken Shamrock. Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie face The New Age Outlaws for the WWE Tag Team Championship in a Dumpster Match.Strong matches throughout, though more definite finishes would have made it stronger. All made up for with a great main event and the beginning of the Austin Era
- StarsDwayne JohnsonJohn CenaMark CalawayTwo of the biggest superstars of all time The Rock and John Cena collide for the very first time ever at the grandest stage of them all. Plus The Deadman puts his legacy on the line inside the treacherous Hell in a Cell against Triple H with Shawn Michaels as special guest referee. WWE Champion CM Punk faces off against Chris Jericho. Daniel Bryan defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Sheamus.Got off to a sloppy start and some silly segments but all redeemed with 3 excellent main events, including the year-long await Cena/Rock clash. It ain't how you start, its how you finish, and what a finish!
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsBret HartShawn MichaelsMark CalawayShawn Michaels and Bret "Hit Man" Hart battle it out in an epic, hour long Iron Man Match with the WWE Championship on the line. The Undertaker faces Diesel. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Goldust collide in a wild Hollywood Backlot Brawl. The Ultimate Warrior goes one-on-one with Hunter Hearst Helmsley. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin Vs. Savio Vega much more. What I consider the first "modern" WrestleMania, with good production values, awesome buildup and a strong main event with a big emphasis on technical wrestling, although it did drag at times.
- DirectorKerwin SilfiesStarsHulk HoganAndré René RoussimoffRandy SavageThird WrestleMania on March 29st, 1987 at the Pontiac Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan. There are twelve matches, with the main event featuring Hulk Hogan defending the WWF World Heavyweight Championship against André the Giant. On par with the first one, and a great show by Macho Man and Ricky Steamboat. Hulk V Andre could have been better but a truly iconic match, better than I expected.
- StarsRonda RouseyRebecca QuinAshley FliehrSuperstars of RAW and Smackdown fight on the grandest stage of them all, 'WrestleMania'; in order to show, who is the best.
- DirectorJack SimonStarsHulk HoganMr. TRoddy PiperFirst WrestleMania on March 31st, 1985 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. In the main event, Hulk Hogan and Mr. T battle Paul Orndorff and Roddy Piper. Celebrity guests include Muhammad Ali, Billy Martin and Liberace.A great show for the wrestling purists. Only major disappointments were the awkward Alfred Hayes and the poor main event.
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsJohn CenaShawn MichaelsDave BautistaTwenty-third annual WrestleMania features WWE Championship match between champion John Cena and Mr. WrestleMania Shawn Michaels. The Undertaker puts The Streak on the line when he challenges Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship. The Battle of the Billionaires between Mr. McMahon and Donald Trump.. Plus, a star-studded Money In The Bank Ladder Match and more.A mixed bag show. Some bad matches, some good and some brilliant matches, especially the Cena/Michaels main event. Aside from this, not a hugely noteworthy show, but not bad at all.
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsKurt AngleBrock LesnarSteve AustinTwo of the greatest grapplers of all time face off with the WWE Championship on the line as Brock Lesnar goes up against Kurt Angle. A Match 20 Years In The Making as Hulk Hogan takes on WWE CEO Vince McMahon. The Rock has never beaten "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at WrestleMania. Will that streak end or will Austin's dominance of The Rock prevail? Plus Return of the Mr. WrestleMania Shawn Michaels to the show of shows.A show full of matches that were just good, with exception to the two main events which were awesome. An amazing finale to the Austin/Rock saga and a great introduction to the Beast.
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsBrock LesnarJoe Anoa'iAJ StylesBrock Lesnar and Roman Reigns battle in a Universal Championship Match. WWE Champion AJ Styles defends his title against Shinsuke Nakamura. Will The Undertaker accept John Cena's challenge for one last match? Plus in ring Return Of Daniel Bryan and in ring debut of Ronda Rousey.
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsDave BautistaPaul LevesqueJohn CenaIn the main event, Triple H puts the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Batista. JBL defends the WWE Championship against John Cena. The Big Show faces sumo champion Akebono in a special Sumo Match. Kurt Angle battles Shawn Michaels. The Undertaker faces Randy Orton. Plus, special Piper's Pit featuring "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Some truly phenomenal matches and a good event all round, but overall let down by two generic and mediocre main events by the two men who would eventually lead the company. You wouldn't have believed it at the time.
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsPaul LevesqueJoe Anoa'iMark CalawayRoman Reigns looks to dethrone the game Triple H and become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Triple threat match between three rising superstars Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch for the Women's Championship. Shane McMahon battles the Undertaker inside Hell In A Cell, Dean Ambrose challenges Brock Lesnar in a No Holds Barred Street Fight, and much more.Like 21 before it, a strong opening to the show that was let down by lackluster main events and a overly long runtime, but salvaged by the resurrection of the Women's Division and a great ladder match.
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsMark CalawayShawn MichaelsDave BautistaStill stinging from his narrow defeat a year earlier, The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels has goaded Undertaker into a rematch by putting his career on the line. Something's gotta give- The legendary streak or the 25 year career of one of the all-time greats!A fairly sluggish and botchy show which never really caught fire. The matches were a little too obvious as to who would win and nothing much stood out about it, with the exception of Undertaker/HBK 2, which again, was outstanding.
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsJohn CenaPaul LevesqueKurt AngleThe Grandest Stage of Them All came back to the former Rosemont Horizon outside Chicago for WrestleMania 22, which featured John Cena defends the WWE Championship against Triple H. Kurt Angle defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton in a Triple Threat Match. The Undertaker puts his streak on the line against Mark Henry in a Casket Match. The Money in the Bank Ladder Match returns, featuring Rob Van Dam, Ric Flair, and more.Edge/Foley and Money in the Bank stole the show. Aside from that, it's a kinda average show with a lackluster main event and a crowd who hated their new world champions.
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsSteve AustinDwayne JohnsonMick Foley"Stone Cold" Steve Austin faces The Rock with the WWF Championship on the line. Mankind faces the Big Show. Kane clashes with Triple H. Road Dogg, Ken Shamrock, Goldust, and Val Venis compete in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match for the Intercontinental Championship and more.Historical significance aside, a fairly average show with matches that didn't meet expectations. A good main event but a largely forgettable event.
- DirectorTim WalbertStarsMark CalawayJoe Anoa'iBill GoldbergThe 33rd edition of the show of shows - WrestleMania. Some good matches but a combination of boredom and burning out a crowd too early. But the night will always be known for the Undertaker's last ride, a crushing end to be beaten by one of the most hated wrestlers ever.
- StarsRic FlairRandy SavageHulk HoganEighth WrestleMania on April 5th, 1992 at the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis. Nine matches are shown, including Roddy Piper defending his title against Bret Hart, Ric Flair battling Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan facing his rival Sid Justice.Great showing from Savage/Flair and Hart/Piper but a very mediocre card and a very generic main event, even if Warrior did show up
- DirectorKerwin SilfiesStarsRandy SavageHulk HoganJim HellwigFifth WrestleMania on April 2nd, 1989 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. A total of fourteen matches are contested at the event with the main event being Hulk Hogan versus Randy Savage for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship.Decent but not quite as engaging as some of the others. Disappointing that Macho Man lost the title considering his great performance
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsKevin NashShawn MichaelsLawrence Taylor11th WrestleMania on April 2nd, 1995 at the Hartford Civic Centre in Hartford. The main event features former NFL linebacker Lawrence Taylor against Bam Bam Bigelow. Shawn Michaels battles Diesel and Jeff Jarrett fights Razor Ramon.A standard event that seemed to like it's celebrities far more than its wrestlers. Not to say that HBK and, surprisingly, Lawrence Taylor didn't put on good shows.
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsMike 'The Miz' MizaninJohn CenaDwayne JohnsonThe Rock returns to WWE to host WrestleMania XXVII. John Cena looks to dethrone WWE Champion The Miz. Undertaker battles Triple H. A bitter and personal rivalry comes to a head when Randy Orton faces CM Punk. All this and more.A couple of good matches but everything dragged, nothing particularly memorable about the show, especially the main event.
- StarsDwayne JohnsonJohn CenaMark CalawayJohn Cena and The Rock clash one more time in the main event for the WWE Championship. CM Punk tries to stop the Undertaker's iconic WrestleMania streak. Brock Lesnar and Triple H collide in a No Holds Barred showdown.Despite one great match, it was all very forgettable and underwhelming. Sickeningly patriotic, way too much buildup for the main event no one wanted and all matches were dull and tedious.
- StarsHulk HoganRobert RemusRandy SavageSeventh WrestleMania on March 24th, 1991 in Los Angeles. In the main event, Hulk Hogan fights Sgt. Slaughter for the WWF Championship as part of a storyline in which Sgt. Slaughter portrays an Iraqi sympathizer during the Gulf War.Fairly standard show, no really outstanding matches and a typical Hogan vs *insert bad guy here* match to finish
- StarsBret HartYokozunaHulk HoganNinth WrestleMania on April 4th, 1993 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The main storyline sees the seemingly unstoppable Yokozuna challenging Bret Hart while Hulk Hogan returns and teams up with Brutus Beefcake against the Money Inc.Not as bad as its been made out to be but completely spoiled by an awful finish. Hogan winning the championship again because "'mrrica!"
- DirectorKerwin SilfiesStarsRandy SavageTed DiBiaseElizabeth HuletteFourth WrestleMania taking place on March 27th, 1988 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. The main event features a 14-man single-elimination tournament with Randy Savage battling the Ted DiBiase as last men standing.Far too much going on and thereby not letting the matches go long enough to engage.
- DirectorKevin DunnStarsPaul LevesqueDwayne JohnsonMick FoleyTriple H defends the WWF Championship against The Rock, Mick Foley, and the Big Show in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match with a McMahon family member in every corner. The Dudley Boyz defend the WWF Tag Team Championship against The Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian in a Triangle Ladder Match. Plus, a Hardcore Battle Royal and more.Botchamania the show! Despite two good matches there was so little emphasis on any actual wrestling, including the sloppy main event.
- StarsHulk HoganKing Kong BundyRandy SavageSecond WrestleMania on April 7th, 1986, airing simultaneously in Uniondale, Chicago and Los Angeles. In the different venues, it is Hulk Hogan vs. Roddy Piper, the Dream Team vs. the British Bulldogs and Hulk Hogan vs. King Kong Bundy.A disjointed show that tried too much and achieved very little.
