Highlight episode - The Promise
An amazing final season to end an amazing series. The incorporation of the main three characters, Raylan, Ava and Boyd, was brillantly handled as we got to see Loretta, Wynn Duffy and even Limehouse make key appearances. Markham made for a formidable villain and the last collection of episodes really excelled. Any moment with Tim, Rachel and Art were great as usual, the dialogue between them all top-notch. As for the finale, it perfectly encapsulated the true spirit of the show, the fact none of our main characters even had to die a credit to the superb writing as everything was tied up masterfully. In the end, the final scene between Raylan and Boyd sums up Justified as a whole, two life-long friends finally acknowledging their bond to one another with the bittersweet last words "we dug coal together".
