It may not be the best film ever made, but it's good and it's fun, plus the CGI is pretty good for it's time. Not to mention this was Pierce Bronson's earlier films before he became the new bond in 007.

It's one of New Line's first films with Ted Turner, but the movie is pretty good, but I prefer the original comics. The Mask in the film doesn't act like a psychopath mass murder with a sick sense of humor (which was a huge disappointed) and they made him into a wacky, zany, superhero played by the guy from In Living Color. However, the movie is not bad, not as good as the comics but not bad.

The film has it's moments, but it's not a great film, not to mention it's directed by the same guys who went on to direct crappier films from mostly Fox. The film is fun to watch, but it's nowhere as good as The Lawnmower Man or The Mask, or TMNT and so.
