Known primarily for her acting career, 'In Her Name' is Sarah Carter's debut as a feature director and filmmaker. This movie premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival 2022. Canadian-born, Sarah trained classically in theater, dance, and fine arts at Ryerson University Toronto. When she arrived in Los Angeles, her acting career took off quickly with string of long-running series regular roles. She became well known for her role as "Madeleine Poe" opposite James Woods on CBS' Shark directed by Spike Lee and most recently she took the lead as "Harper Deakins" opposite Cole Hauser and Richard Shiff on her series Rogue.

Her guest-starring and recurring roles leave a memorable impression, namely as "Alicia Baker" on the CW's Smallville; as "Wrenn Darcy" opposite Peter Krause, Donald Sutherland, and Jill Clayburgh in HBO's Dirty Sexy Money; as "Cassie" in the much-talked-about "The Sundance Kids" episode of HBO's Entourage; as "Lynn Downey" on CBS' long-running remake of Hawaii Five-0, and she's maintained her status as a fan favorite recurring as "Cicada," the first female villain, on CW's The Flash, as well as a guest-star in Law & Order SVU opposite Mariska Hargitay portraying a charismatic capo of NXIVM sex cult.

Her success as an actor inspired a quiet pursuit of the director's chair beginning with Judd Apatow and Seth Rogan inviting her into the writing room to develop her character on their comedy series 'Undeclared'. Since then, she has shadowed and worked with several top directors, most notably over the course of her 5-year run on Steven Spielberg's "Falling Skies".

In film, Sarah has starred in several independent and studio pictures, including Haven, Killing Zelda Sparks, Berkeley, The Weinstein Co.'s DOA: Dead or Alive, New Line Cinema's Final Destination 2. She appeared opposite Rachel McAdams, as "Diane" in SpyGlass Pictures' blockbuster, The Vow, and opposite Larenz Tate as "Veronica" in Business Ethics.

With the birth of her daughter, Alice, Sarah completed her first original screenplay, 'Girl Who Needed A Ride'. She is CEO and founder of her own house, Cheshire Moon Productions. Along with her husband, Emmy Award-winning editor, Kevin Barth, she has successfully produced two full-length features, "A Pity", and her self-penned directorial debut "In Her Name". Both have shared success on the 2022 festival circuit.

Sarah honors her mastery of the artistic process by teaching and contributing as a philanthropist in various ways. She's worked with teenage boys at Camp Kilpatrick Juvenile Delinquent Hall to help them tell their stories and move their emotions creatively, and facilitates women's groups intended to share and release trauma, celebrate wisdom, and find freedom in a safe community. For years, she was the spokesperson for The Breast Cancer Fund promoting health and wellness, raising funds for research, and was featured in Elle Magazine for climbing Mt. Shasta in honor of all the women in her life and around the world who live with or who have died fighting cancer. Today, Cheshire Moon Productions has partnered with EmpowerHer, an organization to support and inspire young women who have lost their mothers.

Working and traveling alone as an actor for over a decade, she values her ability to bond and communicate beyond language and culture. As a practicing Buddhist and yogini, with professional training in core energetics, and having acquired teaching status for her studies with Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes on story analysis and channeling archetypes, Sarah applies her experience as a mystic to all facets of her life's work.

Along with being a professional actor, director, writer, producer, and devoted mother, Sarah is a singer/songwriter in her band, "SanguinDrake."

With a strong body of work in her native Germany, Antje broke out into the international marketplace in Zack Snyder's Superman retelling, "Man of Steel" as the villainess, "Faora." Other credits include Renny Harlin's "5 Days of August," Warner Brothers' "The Seventh Son," Simon Curtis's "The Woman in Gold" with Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds and Ariel Vroman's "Criminal" with Kevin Costner, Gary Oldman and Tommy Lee Jones. Antje has most recently been seen in Stephen Poliakoff's "Close to the Enemy" for the BBC, the Sky/Amazon pilot, "Oasis" and the hit Netflix series "Dark" which has just shot it's second series which will air in summer 2019. Antje can next be seen playing the lead role in the limited series "Dead End" and in the feature "Blame Game" which opened the Max Ophuls Film Festival.

Daniella Kertesz was born in Jerusalem, Israel. She is an actress, known for World War Z (2013), Shtisel (2013) and Incitement (2019).

Alexis Merizalde Knapp hails from Allegheny in Pennsylvania. She worked as a model before breaking into acting, starting with small roles in Couples Retreat (2009) and Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010). She also came to public attention during a high-profile relationship with Ryan Phillippe, which ended in September 2010. On July 2011, Knapp gave birth to her first child, a girl named Kailani Merizalde Phillippe-Knapp.

British actress Imogen Poots was born in Hammersmith, London, England, the daughter of English-born Fiona (Goodall), a journalist, and Trevor Poots, a Northern Ireland-born television producer. Actress and activist Shailene Woodley was born in Simi Valley, California, to Lori (Victor), a middle school counselor, and Lonnie Woodley, a school principal. She has one brother, Tanner. In 2017 Bérénice will appear in both Joe Miale's sci-fi thriller Revolt (2017) opposite Lee Pace and Terrence Malick's "Weightless" alongside an amazing ensemble cast that includes Christian Bale, Michael Fassbender, Natalie Portman, Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara and Cate Blanchett. She will also appear in David Lynch's Twin Peaks (2017) alongside Naomi Watts, Laura Dern and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Bérénice Marlohe was born in Paris, France and is of French, Chinese and Cambodian descent .

Born in 1979 in London, England, actress Rosamund Mary Elizabeth Pike is the only child of a classical violinist mother, Caroline (Friend), and an opera singer father, Julian Pike. Due to her parents' work, she spent her early childhood traveling around Europe. Pike attended Badminton School in Bristol, England and began acting at the National Youth Theatre. While appearing in a National Youth Theatre production of "Romeo and Juliet", she was first spotted and signed by an agent, although she continued her education at Wadham College, Oxford, where she read English Literature, eventually graduating with an upper second class honors degree.

Sarah Shahi was born Aahoo Jahansouzshahi in Euless, Texas, to an Iranian father and Spanish-Iranian mother. She is a former NFL cheerleader and a descendant of a 19th-century Persian Shah. She attended Trinity High School and Southern Methodist University, studied opera and majored in English. As a teenager, she won several beauty contests and took first place in the Miss Fort Worth USA pageant in 1997. She joined the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders and was part of the 1999-2000 squad. She also appeared on the cover of their 2000 calendar.

While working as an extra on the set of Dr. T & the Women (2000), she met director Robert Altman, who encouraged her to move to Hollywood to pursue a career as an actress. Shahi was the first ghost in Supernatural (2005), the CW paranormal drama series. She had recurring roles in several TV series, such as Alias (2001), in which she played "Jenny"; and Dawson's Creek (1998), where she was "Sadia Shaw". She became a fan favorite in her role as the Mexican-American DJ "Carmen de la Pica Morales" in the Showtime series, The L Word (2004), which she joined in its second season. Sarah did not renew her contract with the show for a fourth season and, consequently, her character was written out.

However, she is best-known for her main role as "Sameen Shaw" on the CBS show Person of Interest (2011) playing a CIA agent turned-vigilante with a heart of gold.

She also appeared on HBO's The Sopranos (1999), in the episode Kennedy and Heidi (2007) as "Sonya Aragon", a stripper and a college student who spends a weekend with Tony after a death in his family. Although uncredited by most sources, Sarah also appeared in the Jackie Chan film, Rush Hour 3 (2007), as one of the girls being handcuffed along with Mia Tyler for a traffic offense by Chris Tucker early in the film. She also starred with Damian Lewis in the NBC show, Life (2007).

Sarah speaks English, Farsi, and some Spanish, and has a brown belt in karate.

Shelley Hennig was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and has two older brothers. She spent much of her childhood as a competitive dancer. She was the fastest typist her senior year of high school as well as Miss Teen USA. Miss Teen USA gave her a scholarship to New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts and she took advantage.

In 2007 her acting career took off. Cast in the role of Stephanie Johnson in the series Days of Our Lives (1965) she embarked on what would become a highly successful television and film career.

Joanne can most recently be seen starring opposite Kevin Bacon in the third season of CITY ON A HILL for Showtime and in an episode of HUDSON & REX on Citytv. Jessica De Gouw is an Australian actress. She is known for her role as Helena Bertinelli/The Huntress in the television series Arrow, as Mina Murray in the NBC TV series Dracula, and as Elizabeth Hawkes in the WGN series Underground.

Jessica grew up in Lesmurdie, an eastern suburb of Perth, Western Australia, where she attended Lesmurdie Senior High School. She appeared in an episode of The Sleepover Club, as well as a short film. In 2010, she graduated from Curtin University at the age of 22, majoring in performance studies. She also appeared in another short film the same year.

De Gouw moved to Sydney in order to have a greater opportunity for acting roles. She appeared in a number of TV series, mostly in guest starring roles. In 2012, she debuted in the film Kath & Kimderella as Isabella, Kath and Kim's maid. She moved to Los Angeles later that year and landed the recurring role of the Helena Bertinelli/The Huntress in the action-adventure series, Arrow. In 2013, De Gouw was cast in the NBC series Dracula as Mina Murray alongside Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Oliver Jackson-Cohen. The series lasted only 10 episodes, and NBC announced on 9 May 2014 that the show would not be renewed for another season. In 2016, De Gouw was cast as fictional abolitionist Elizabeth Hawkes in the WGN series, Underground. She played the lead role Ren Amari in the 2017 feature film OtherLife based on the novel Solitaire by Kelley Eskridge.

Tonkin was born in Sydney. When she was four, she attended dance courses in classical ballet, hip hop, contemporary dance, and tap dance. At the age of 12, Tonkin began courses at the Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) at the Wharf Theatre. Tonkin attended Loreto Kirribilli and later graduated from the Queenwood School for Girls.

In December 2005, Tonkin was cast as the role of Cleo Sertori on the Australian children television series H2O: Just Add Water which follows the lives of three teenage girls who turn into mermaids. Tonkin improved on her swimming abilities during the pre-production of the series. The series premiered on 7 July 2006 on Network Ten and has since gone on to be aired to a worldwide audience of more than 250 million. To promote the series she and her co-stars presented the best band award at the Nickelodeon UK Kids' Choice Awards in October 2007. In 2008, Tonkin was nominated for "Best Lead Actress in a Television Series" at the prestigious Australian Film Institute Awards. The series ran for three seasons with the series finale airing on 16 April 2010.

Tonkin has also appeared on fellow Australian television shows Packed to the Rafters and Home and Away. In September 2010, Tonkin made her film debut starring in the Australian action ensemble film Tomorrow, When the War Began. In the film, which revolves around a group of teenagers waging a guerrilla war against an invading foreign power in their fictional hometown of Wirrawee, she played the role of the rich and uptight Fiona Maxwell. In December 2010, a sequel was announced with Tonkin expected to return, though production of a sequel never came to fruition.

In January 2011, Tonkin moved to Los Angeles to pursue an international acting career. She was cast in March 2011 as Faye Chamberlain on The CW supernatural drama series The Secret Circle which premiered on 15 September 2011 to over 3.5 million viewers. The series follows a group of young witches who are a part of a secret coven. For her performance, Tonkin has received critical acclaim, with critics referring to her as the breakout star of the series; she was featured on Variety's list of "new faces to watch" and named one of 2011's breakout TV stars by E! Online. The Secret Circle, however, had only one full season as it was canceled on 11 May 2012.

In August 2010, Tonkin was cast in the 3D horror film Bait 3D. Filming took place on Australia's Gold Coast and follows a group of strangers who are trapped in a supermarket after a freak tsunami with a pack of great white sharks. The film was expected to be released in Australia in September 2012. In August 2012, Tonkin joined the cast of The CW television series, The Vampire Diaries, in the recurring role of Hayley, a friend of Tyler. She joined her co-star from H2O: Just Add Water, Claire Holt, who portrays Rebekah Mikaelson on the show.

On 11 January 2013, The CW confirmed that a spin-off series to The Vampire Diaries was in the works, titled The Originals. The series revolves around the Original Vampire family members, and Tonkin would "be heavily featured in the prospective pilot" of the series. The CW confirmed on 13 February that Claire Holt would also join the cast of The Originals, marking the third time Tonkin and Holt have starred together on a show. Tonkin has had a main role in all the seasons.

Tonkin has appeared in a number of advertisements which include Vauxhall Motors and was previously signed to Chic Management. Her modeling career includes shoots for Girlfriend, Teen Vogue, ELLE Australia, Miss Vogue Australia, Vogue Australia, Dolly and Free People. Tonkin has also appeared in Miles Fisher's music video "Don't Let Go". In 2012 Tonkin opened a website about health with friend Teresa Palmer called YourZenLife.

Award-winning actress, director, producer, Katheryn Winnick, is best known for starring and directing the critically acclaimed, Emmy award-winning television series "Vikings." Winnick made her directorial debut in sixth and final season which earned her "Best Director" at the 2020 WIN Awards. She produced and starred in Sean Penn's "Flag Day" that premiered at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival and recently starred in David E. Actress and model Teresa Palmer has gathered some impressive film credits. She was born in Adelaide, South Australia, to Kevin Palmer, an investor, and Paula Sanders, a former missionary and nurse. She completed high school at Mercedes College in 2003, where she was a popular student who was well-known for her practical jokes. She worked in a Cotton On outlet in Rundle Mall until she was discovered and cast on the spot--without an audition--in her feature film debut and breakthrough role in 2:37 (2006). Made by first-time writer/director/producer Murali K. Thalluri, the film competed in the 2006 Cannes Film Festival in "Un Certain Regard" and chronicles the lives of six students over the course of day and ends in a devastating suicide.

Teresa immediately went to work on back-to-back film projects including December Boys (2007) opposite "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe--a coming-of-age story about four adolescent orphans, based on the book by Michael Noonan and directed by Rod Hardy (Robinson Crusoe (1997), Buffalo Girls (1995), The X-Files (1993) and The Practice (1997)). She also starred as stripper-turned-criminal "Dale" in the British/Australian co-production Restraint (2008), a film noir/psychological thriller that follows the plight of a pair of fugitives on the run from a murder scene. Directed by David Denneen, the film also features former Calvin Klein model Travis Fimmel and British actor Stephen Moyer. In 2006 Teresa worked with Japanese director Takashi Shimizu on the Sony Pictures production The Grudge 2 (2006). Set in Tokyo, the horror sequel to the box-office hit The Grudge (2004) also starred Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jennifer Beals. Later that year Teresa signed on to play the female lead in Doug Liman's action fantasy film Jumper (2008), but was subsequently replaced by Rachel Bilson.

Early 2007 saw her star opposite former boyfriend Topher Grace as the love interest in the retro comedy film Take Me Home Tonight (2011). Shortly after filming ended, Teresa decided to move permanently from Adelaide to Los Angeles following a public split from her then-boyfriend of two years, Australian Rules football star Stuart Dew. Talitha Luke Eardley is an English actress known for her role in Game Of Thrones and Daria in Wrong Turn 6. She began her career as an actress in 2013 when she played the character Yunkai Whore in episode 'Second Sons' of third season of the series Game of Thrones. In 2014, Talitha played the character in Daria Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort directed by Valeri Milev and starring Sadie Katz and Aqueela Zoll.

Emily O'Hara Ratajkowski was born in London, England, to American parents, Kathleen (Balgley), a professor, and John David Ratajkowski, a painter. She is of British Isles, German, Polish, and Jewish ancestry. Emily was raised in Encinitas, California, near San Diego. She traveled a lot, and also spent some of her childhood in Ireland and Mallorca. She started modeling at fourteen-years-old and was signed by "Ford Models". She continued to attend school but, after one year at UCLA, majoring in Fine Art, she decided to concentrate on becoming a model. Kirke was born in London, and raised in New York City from the age of five. Her father, Simon Kirke, is the former drummer of the rock bands Bad Company and Free. Her mother, Lorraine (née Dellal) Kirke, owns Geminola, a vintage boutique in New York City that supplied a number of outfits for the television series Sex and the City (1998).

Her father is of English and Scottish descent. Her maternal grandfather, Jack Dellal, was a British businessman of Iraqi Jewish descent, and Kirke's maternal grandmother was Israeli. Kirke has two sisters, Jemima Kirke and Domino Kirke. She is a cousin of curator Alexander Dellal and model Alice Dellal.

Kirke graduated from Bard College in 2012.

Olivia resides in New York City where she was born and raised. She has trained extensively in classical Shakespearian acting in New York at the American Globe Theatre, and in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She began acting professionally in 2003, and plans to pursue a career in both theater and film.

In the same year she was an ambitious elite student to the ensemble of Alain Gsponer's Godless Youth (2017), a dystopian future after Ödön von Horvath's novel of the same name.

In addition to acting, Alicia von Rittberg studies economics in Friedrichshafen.
