Traditionally-Animated Films
This is a non-comprehensive list of animated films I have a deep appreciation of for one reason or another. Some have exceptional narratives that help to legitimize animated filmmaking. Other are simply pretty to look at. For whatever reason, I acknowledge their accomplishments with this list. I aim to go beyond simply the traditional Disney films, while still giving them their due. The list is American-centric because of my lapses in knowledge of foreign animation, particularly Anime. Entirely computer-generated films, while worthwhile in their own right, will not be included because I don't share the same passion for their presentation. Films that combine animation techniques, or even animation with live-action sequences, may be included on a case-by-case basis.
