- CreatorByron BalascoStarsFrank GrilloKiele SanchezMatt LauriaA retired MMA fighter turned trainer juggles keeping his mixed martial arts gym running and keeping his family united."Kingdom" isn’t always an easy show to watch, but it is an excellent one. Nothing comes easy for the Kulina MMA crew (Frank Grillo, Nick Jonas, and Johnathan Tucker) or the people who are in their lives. Winning a fight, dealing with addiction, making weight, staying out of jail, sustaining any type of relationship ... everything is a struggle. But it’s one you want to keep watching, in hopes they’ll make it. Because as flawed and somewhat broken and sometimes hopeless as they are, you end up with your fingers crossed for all of them. — Vanessa
Season 2.5 premieres Wednesday, June 1, on Audience Network - DirectorThea SharrockStarsEmilia ClarkeSam ClaflinJanet McTeerA girl in a small town forms an unlikely bond with a recently-paralyzed man she's taking care of.If you love romantic movies, get your tissues ready! In my opinion, Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin are perfectly cast to bring Jojo Moyes' novel to life. Me Before You follows Louisa (Clarke), a girl in a small town who forms an unlikely bond with Will, a recently-paralyzed man (Claflin) she's taking care of. Honestly, every time I watch the trailer (it's like 15 times now), I get teary-eyed. But who doesn't want to see Khaleesi and Finnick Odair fall in love?! #fanfictioncrossover Amiright? 'Me Before You' hits theaters June 3. Bring tissues ... and some wine. — Akimi
Opens in theaters Friday, June 3. - DirectorAkiva SchafferJorma TacconeStarsAndy SambergJorma TacconeAkiva SchafferWhen it becomes clear that his solo album is a failure, a former boy band member does everything in his power to maintain his celebrity status.Admit it: At some point in the last few years, you probably delighted in the very public stumbles of a young (ahem, unnamed) pop singer lacking both self-awareness and restraint. Which is why this movie, written and directed by the Lonely Island gents and produced by Judd Apatow, is sure to please, especially with a lead character (Andy Samberg) whose shortcomings seem so familiar and reliably laughable, and a cast teeming with comedy and music favorites. Is it too early to say I'm not sorry about this movie? — Bret
Opens Friday, June 3, in wide release - StarsBig FreediaRenee Moncada-McElroyWilbertoThis show follows Big Freedia (born Frederick Ross) on her journey toward superstardom in the mainstream media. As the undisputed ambassador of the energetic, New Orleans-based Bounce movement, Big Freedia is never afraid to twerk, wiggle, and shake her way to self-confidence, and is encouraging her fans to do the same.Looks like there will be some growing pains in the fifth season of FUSE's most popular original show, and I'm wondering if the season has been augmented to address Freedia's current legal concern — the misappropriation of federal funds related to housing vouchers she received at an earlier point in her career. The show has always done an excellent job at keeping it real and real entertaining. So, I'm tuning in for the new season. — Arno
Season 5 premieres Wednesday, June 8, on FUSE - DirectorJames WanStarsVera FarmigaPatrick WilsonMadison WolfeEd and Lorraine Warren travel to North London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by a supernatural spirit.Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga return as noted paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren in this sequel that looks every bit as chilling as the 2013 original. This time around, however, the action moves across the pond, from a farmhouse in Rhode Island to a council house in Enfield, England, where poltergeist activity has settled uncomfortably into the lives of a single mother and her family. The movie is based on real-life events from the late 1970s. According to reports, on the first day of shooting, a priest was brought in to bless the set. Guess that tells horror diehards all they need to know. — Bret
Opens Friday, June 10, in wide release - DirectorDuncan JonesStarsTravis FimmelPaula PattonBen FosterAs an Orc horde invades the planet Azeroth using a magic portal, a few human heroes and dissenting Orcs must attempt to stop the true evil behind this war.Director Duncan Jones, who helmed the cult sci-fi hits Source Code and Moon, takes on the challenge of creating a big-budget blockbuster based on a videogame franchise with decades of complex mythology and world-building. The CGI Orc world is visually impressive, as are the motion-capture characters. The effects team put an equal amount of effort into details like creating realistic facial expressions for the Orcs as it did into the large-scale battle sequences. One of the reasons I am anticipating this film's release is that its box office receipts could have a major impact on the film industry. Will it break the "Video Game Movie Curse" and inspire more video game adaptations? Will fans of the game accept the version of the characters and world that are presented in the film? Will people who have never played the game go see it? Stay tuned. — Sara
Opens Friday, June 10, in wide release - CreatorRobert KirkmanStarsPatrick FugitPhilip GlenisterWrenn SchmidtA young man searches for answers as to why he's been suffering from supernatural possessions his entire life. You had me at "demonic possession." With Robert Kirkman getting the "Created by" credit, what can go wrong? Personally, I have always loved the classic, biblical struggles between good and evil that play out in epic battles with demons and angels in the human world. The thing I love most about the first trailers for "Outcast" is that feeling of paranoia where you really don't know if the demons are coming from outside or from within. — Lance
Premieres Friday, June 10 on Cinemax - StarsNorman ReedusJeffrey Dean MorganMelissa McBrideFollows "The Walking Dead" star and motorcycle enthusiast Norman Reedus as he hits the open road to explore local biker culture and celebrate the best and brightest collectors, mechanics and craftsmen around the country."I can't think of anything we did that wasn't awesome!" Cue the rock guitars and rev those engines, because "Walking Dead" fan favorite Norman Reedus is returning to the small screen this month! In between seasons of "TWD," Reedus is storming our (walker-free) country on two wheels in a new reality series that explores biker culture across America. For motorcycle and Reedus enthusiasts alike! — Chako

Piper has had the world's longest one-year prison sentence, and viewers are clearly more than OK with it. Returns on Friday, June 17 at 12:01 a.m. PT on Netflix - DirectorAndrew StantonAngus MacLaneStarsEllen DeGeneresAlbert BrooksEd O'NeillFriendly but forgetful blue tang Dory begins a search for her long-lost parents and everyone learns a few things about the real meaning of family along the way.Ellen DeGeneres is back as the lovable but forgetful Dory, and I am excited for her underwater adventure. My kids probably made me watch Finding Nemo about a million times. Each time the title credits started, I couldn't help but roll my eyes: "Again?!" But the more I watched, the more I found myself understanding the moral of caring for those closest to you. While it seems we have lost Dory this time around, I have a feeling we are going to learn a lot more about the true nature of family along the way. — Lance
Opens Friday, June 17, in wide release - CreatorScott DunlopStarsTamra JudgeVicki GunvalsonShannon Storms BeadorA look at five families living in a protected Southern California enclave, and the real-life housewives who reside in one of the wealthiest planned communities in the country.Where to even begin! Last season was intense as the OG of the OC Vicki Gunvalson's boyfriend Brooks was accused of faking his cancer. Well Vicki is back (sans Brooks), along with Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador, and Meghan King Edmonds. There is also a new face joining this outspoken bunch, Kelly Dodd, a stay-at-home mom originally from Arizona who recently reconciled with her husband, Michael. Vicki's daughter Briana is also back in the OC, and we'll finally find out the details of what happened in that sand dune accident that was highly publicized while it was happening earlier this year. One thing is for sure: The drama is real. So, if you hear someone screaming at a television on Monday evenings, don't fear. It's likely me just watching "The Real Housewives of Orange County"! — Shara
Season 11 premieres Monday, June 20, on Bravo - DirectorRoland EmmerichStarsLiam HemsworthJeff GoldblumBill PullmanTwo decades after the first Independence Day invasion, Earth is faced with a new extra-Solar threat. But will mankind's new space defenses be enough? And they’re back! 20 years ago we thwarted an alien invasion with a Mac PowerBook and a computer virus, and this time around I’m betting the aliens have upgraded their firewall and invested in some antivirus software. Except for Will Smith, almost the entire team is back together for Resurgence: Vivica A. Fox, Bill Pullman, Brent Spiner, among others. I’m excited to see how the next generation (Liam Hemsworth, Jessie Usher, and Joey King) teams up with our classic crew to take down the aliens once again. Phishing? Social engineering? — Vanessa

This film marks Refn's third film in competition for the Palme d'Or at Cannes. — Chako

Knight's then-radical beliefs included racial, gender, and economic equality. The film promises Matthew McConaughey in his rebel hero mode, stirring monologues, and a chance to learn about an obscure chapter of American history. — Sara

Opens Friday, June 24, in limited release - CreatorAnn BidermanStarsLiev SchreiberEddie MarsanDash MihokRay Donovan, a professional "fixer" for the rich and famous in Los Angeles, can make anyone's problems disappear except those created by his own family. There’s an extra layer to this season’s "Ray Donovan," as LA’s professional fixer (Liev Schreiber) looks to reconnect with his Catholic faith — despite his traumatic past. The storyline will be especially compelling in the wake of Schreiber’s powerful performance as the Boston Globe editor who stood up to the Catholic Church in Spotlight. Will Ray be able to forgive and forget? Will he find his own redemption? I'll be sticking this one out until the season finale to find out. — Melissa

The trifecta of talent behind this new Showtime series is enough of a lure, but the trailer also promises a vicarious adventure with a colorful family of rock tour roadies. I'm in for the ride. — Melissa
