Joey Allaham List
Joey Allaham is a noted name in the kosher industry who managed to open his first restaurant while he was still in his 20’s. He was born in Damask, Syria, in a family that was fourth generation of butchers. Working in the family business he learned a lot about meat. Although he was always surrounded by it, he was never forced on working in the food industry. In fact, quite the opposite his parents wanted him to study law school and become a lawyer, but once they immigrated to the United States in 1993, Joey Allaham realized that he had no interest in law, and decided to pursue his dreams and passion in the food industry. His first job in America was working as a stock boy at a mini-mart in Brooklyn, and although he was low-paid he still believed in his dream of opening a restaurant. Dedicated to his goal, Joey Allaham worked hard and saved every penny. After some time he acquired enough funds to start his own restaurant business. The restaurant had a classic steakhouse décor with white tablecloth and red leather booths, and it had three private dining rooms. The restaurant was visited by a list of celeb names and noted figures, starting from Madonna and Bono, to NYC’s mayor Bill De Blasio and Bill Clinton. Thanks to Prime Grill’s success and reputation, Joey Allaham was able to open Solo (a Mediterranean-Asian fusion restaurant), Prime KO (a Japanese steakhouse), and Prime Butcher Baker, a gourmet food store. Each of these venues offer a unique experience, with a distinctive atmosphere, and mouth-watering food made with the freshest ingredients. This noted restaurateur offers a mix of familiar and exotic, innovative and traditional, and provides customers with a unique experience. His restaurants offer only top quality service and the freshest ingredients possible, along with an international wine list and a complete bar with exotic drinks.
