Movies that I LIKE, but others hate...... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Okay, yeah, you might be thinking I'm *REALLY* scraping the bottom of the barrel in finding some movie that isn't really liked by the general public, BUT.... hear me out.

Upon this movie's July 1999 release in Japan, I was only 7 years old at the time. And at that point in my life, I liked movies not so much for their story, but more for their visuals - and the "Phantom Menace" had that in DROGUES! I mean, sure a few things went over my head, and there were a few design choices which puzzled me, but I remember following the plot fine; and till this day, I still enjoy watching it.
Now if I had grown up with the original trilogy, I would probably hate this movie as much as the next person, since officially it's one of the most popular things to do nowadays. But because I watched Episode 1 BEFORE 4, 5, and 6, I had nothing to compare it to. So I just saw it for what it was: a decent sci-fi action flick with great stunt-work and special effects.

PS: And I do think Jake Lloyd does a better job at acting than Hayden Christensen.

This motion picture really gives you a dose of reality.
NOTE: Try watching either Kent Hovind's and/or Ken Ham's seminars! They're a whole lot more insightful, IMO.

People are claiming this movie is "stupid" or "insulting" or "looser
movie" - yo, SLOW DOWN just a bit...
Deceitful movies have the tendency to be rated UP, and truthful movies
tend to be rated DOWN these days. It's because they don't WANT to hear
the truth! IMDb & Rotten Tomato ratings are so biased!

Many out there will make negative comments about this movie and that is their right, but it is also my right to praise this film and the message it gives to all. It was a good movie, though it had some problems (like some forms of theistic evolution & "billions of years" I suppose, which aren't even scientifically accurate). But great message anyways, it was inspiring.

Sure nobody panics when Hollywood would have a HISTORY of anti-Christian hate speech movies puffed out to make a quick buck, but if a single legitimate genuine film is created by Christian missionary people based on true events, THEN EVERYONE LOSES there minds!

PS: And you probably think this film had "strawman arguments"??? Well, it's not as bad or insulting at all like that biased & horrid movie "The Ledge" from 2011.
That flick was FULL of them!

Best complicated documentary that doesn't screw with people using any sort of slanted liberal biased discrimination or worldview, or strawmen, and gives an genuine & honest look at life and the evidence.

WHY trash on this?? This ain't no "propaganda film".... lol wut???
All it was made for was simply being insightful, informative, and engaging; exposing a lot of truths & information that doesn't get out to the public.

Because of the apparent blackballing f the film by people who had never seen it, it is difficult to tell what actual viewers of the film thought. Removing the almost obligatory '1' ratings under the above assumption 1,600 voters on iMDb gave it an "8.5" rating ona scale of 1 to 10.

Sadly films like this don't often have the "high budhet"...
But simply dramatic, gripping, well-acted, well-directed, emotional, touching...and the rest of its sequels

I watched this film, and I thought it was pretty engaging, with a really convincing atmosphere. I enjoyed the romance, action, and the story!

Yeah, at least one movie was blame was put in the right place, instead of people blaming God all the time these days.

Suspenseful, Thrilling, Creative, and Good Acting!

I surely remember this being passable, watchable, and entertaining enough.

Seriously, a much better "daughter-mother relationship" film than 'Brave'.

Saw this when I was barely a teen, and laughed my butt off.
Cute, charming, and funny.
Eh, the effects are corny at times.
But I remember really liking this movie.

I thought this film DELIVERED - it got me excited for the next upcoming movies, featuring the Justice League!
Giving credit to Zack Snyder's direction, everything about Batman & Superman was just top-notch. People may think Jesse Eisenberg was a "bad choice" for Lex, but he seemed to try his best and was somewhat fresh & new - giving a new take on the character. Lex Luthor in this movie, is the best we've ever seen (other than animated and rosenbaum). Hackman and spacey were good, but weren't evil people really, they are evil-ish real estate agents. They want nothing but more money, this one was actually evil and smart, very smart.
And plus, I'm GLAD I did not watch anymore trailers after the Teaser & and first Theatrical Trailer - after that I put my foot down, I was like "NO MORE", given the fact that trailers can be quite bad these days.
Well, if you wanted me to nitpick something I really didn't like in the film, it's that Michael Cassidy playing "Jimmy Olsen" was killed off too early in the movie at the start.... :-|
I was so looking forward to his appearance after years of dormant after that time in the "Smallville" series.

Hey, I ended up really enjoying this movie - there is an explanation for any supposed "plot inconsistency" there is in this movie, the actors all have great chemistry, the action's cool, the enemy's is a surprising good one, and the story is all-round fine - fighting for your liberty never fails to be a great story in a movie genre.

And North Korea was especially an interesting part to the story.

The only downside for me is that Hemsworth (no spoilers) has an unexpected scene in the film.

The "Mandarin" in this film was NOT the real MANDARIN! [Just go watch the "Marvel One-Shot: All Hail The King" - it'll calm you down :-) ]

Yeah, Tony Stark removing his glowing chest orb at the end was quite puzzling; yeah, this film being set on "Christmas" was puzzling; yeah, this film following the same plot line of "The Incredibles", but there was a lot of good stuff in this film! The special effects are still good too, Tony Stark amazing diversity with his inventions never fails to entertain you. And boy, that showdown at the end sure was A.W.E.S.O.M.E.!

It was AWESOME. I loved it. Great action. Fun story. Brilliant cast. Amazing cinematography.
I honestly don't understand all the constant negativity towards.
(PS: I honestly didn't mind if Channing Tatum wasn't in the film that much, because he's just one actor I don't care much for.)

BEST, DOCUMENTARY, EVER! Beautiful oil paintings, great dramatic narration, and very important truths presented.

I call this a fresh-new start - still in Middle-earth, but a clean new sheet of paper, a whole new course of a meal, and a brand-new story.
It doesn't deserve a majority of the hate it's been getting from those, who I might say are a bit too nit-picky.

I'm sorry but does Rotten Tomatoes have no SHAME for giving this flick a "13%" on their website?? I mean sometimes their ratings are OK, but sometimes they're very bad.
They've obviously got a hate-spirit for Christians, no nice way of saying it.
They ought to put their immediate bias out of the way, think with an open mind, and judge fairly on flick, whatever they may be.

YES, yes, yes, I know. There have been so many Internet videos that have trashed on this film already.

But the more I watch it it, I just feel more entertained by it. Yes, it's got loads of stupid things in it, but it makes up for it by being really good at parts too! The voice acting by Peter Cullen for Optimus prime is awesome as always, Shia Labeof is still funny, as well as the actress who plays his mom, the soundtrack is cool (gotta love "Burn It To The Ground" by Nickelback), Megan Fox is still a gorgeous side-kick, the special effects are TOP NOTCH, the fight scenes are superb ("Let's Role!"), and there're a TON more robots in this (of which a lot of people complain about), but I didn't mind at all, 'cause all the new designs were interesting, since this is a sequel - and there seems to be a rule that a sequel has gotta be bigger & better than the first, and I thought it did that fine!

So yeah, big big BIG guilty pleasure

I used to watch the first two Spy Kids films AVIDLY - simply, when I heard a third film, I was simply so psyched, being at a young age!
The costumes on the characters were cool too!
