Kimiko Elizabeth Glenn was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, where she grew up with her sister Amanda, and parents Mark and Sumiko. She started doing theater when she was ten years old at Valley Youth Theatre and there, began developing her love for performing.

Halfway through her freshman year of college at the Boston Conservatory, she was cast in the 1st National Tour of Spring Awakening. After touring for two years, she finally settled her life in New York.

Since then, she starred as the title role in La Jolla Playhouse's "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots", directed by Des McAnuff; and played the bratty Princess Ssu-Ming in the Playhouse's production of "The Nightingale", directed by Moisés Kaufman. She was honored to perform at the Delacorte Theater for Shakespeare in the Park, in The Public's "Love's Labour's Lost", directed by Alex Timbers. She had a blast originating the role of Emily in the Off-Broadway production of Julianne Moore's Freckleface Strawberry and is proud of the many exciting projects she has been a part of. Favorites include: Behind the Painting written by Maltby & Shire; Plop, written by Bare's Damon Intrabartolo; Yeast Nation from the creators of Urintetown at the NY Fringe festival '11; Crossing Over as part of the National Asian Artists' Project; and the staged reading of Cheer Wars -- her very first New York job.

Kimiko has also appeared in feature films Construction (2021); Nous York (2012); and Hair Brained (2013) starring Brendan Fraser & Parker Posey; and the movie-musical short, Galaxy Comics, by director Kevin McMullin. You may have seen her in the 2011 Disney/ABC Diversity Showcase directed by Ted Sluberski and Joe Ward. She was thrilled to shoot NBCUniversal's half-hour comedy pilot Holding Patterns; and will be joining the cast of Orange Is the New Black (2013), a Netflix series, as Brook Soso.

Michelle Krusiec is an award winning Taiwanese American director, writer and actor whose lengthy career has proven to be a versatile and influential presence in the industry. Michelle writes and directs in genre, weaving in personal narrative and comedy. She's an alumnae of the AFI Directing Workshop for Women. Her work has screened at top genre, Canadian and US Academy Qualifying festivals: Fantasia, Beyondfest, Brussels Fantastic, Calgary, Palm Springs, Hawaii FF, LAAPFF, among many others.

Michelle's short film NIAN was commissioned for Hulu's Bite Size Halloween. Nian's awards include Best Midnight Short at Palm Springs, Mark Braunstein Maverick Nomination at Woodstock, Young Audience Award at Court Metranges, Honorable Mention at Female Eye. Michelle is attached to write and direct NIAN as a feature for Worthen/Brooks formerly 20th Digital Studio.

Krusiec's work as an actress and advocate for API causes has been honored by The White House, State of California and Museum of Chinese America.

Camille Chen was born in Taipei, Taiwan. She is an actress and producer, known for Game Night (2018), Spy Kids 3: Game Over (2003) and Renfield (2023). She has been married to Christian Anderson since 4 March 2017.

At the age of five, Lynn Chen began singing on the stage of The Metropolitan Opera House. She has been performing ever since. Her feature film debut was in Sony Pictures Classics' Saving Face, a role that won her the title of "Outstanding Newcomer" at the 2006 AXAwards. She has been a fixture on the film festival circuit -- including Sundance, Toronto, Tribeca, and SXSW. In 2017, she won "Best Actor" at the NBC Shorts Fest and a talent holding deal with the network.

Lynn was featured in Variety's 2020 "Power of Women" Issue for her directorial debut I WIll Make You Mine, which she also wrote, produced, and starred in. The movie has a 100% Rotten Tomato Rating and was an Official Selection of the 2020 SXSW Film Festival.

She founded the blogs/podcasts "The Actor's Diet" and "Thick Dumpling Skin" (the first site dedicated to Asian-Americans and eating disorders). She has been featured on NPR, Cosmopolitan, and Marie Claire Magazine and has been a speaker at various colleges (Stanford, Dartmouth, Wellesley), conferences (WonderCon), and festivals (Disneyland California Adventure Food & Wine) for her acting work and body image activism. Phoebe Belle Cates was born on July 16, 1963 in New York City, New York, and raised there. She is the daughter of Lily and Joseph Cates, who was a Broadway producer and television pioneer. Her uncle was director/producer Gilbert Cates. Phoebe is of Russian Jewish, and one quarter Chinese, descent. She studied at Miss Hewitt's school and at the Professional Children's School in New York City. She took classes at Juilliard when she was ten-years-old for three and a half years until a knee injury forced her to stop. Phoebe had been a busy New York model starting at the age of fourteen. She's since been featured on the covers of four Seventeens, two Elle covers, a British Vogue, and Andy Warhol's Interview, as well as in numerous layouts in other magazines. She actively pursued her modeling career, until she met her film agent at a party at New York's Studio 54. She trains with Robert Ravan, founder of The Actors' Circle in New York. Previously she studied with Alice Spivack of the H.B. Studios. Cates made her motion picture debut as Sarah in Paradise (1982) in the same year she starred as Jennifer Jason Leigh's "experienced" confidante in Amy Heckerling's acclaimed Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982). Cates then landed the role of "Christine Ramsey" in Private School (1983), then co-starred in the innovative Gremlins (1984) for Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment, directed by Joe Dante. Cates has remained active in theatre, as well. After making her New York debut in Joseph Papp's Off-Broadway production of "The Nest of the Wood Grouse" in 1984, she followed with David Henry Hwang's "Rich Relations" at The Second Stage and a one-act festival at the Manhattan Punchline. On the West Coast, Cates played "Nina" in the La Jolla Playhouse production of Anton Chekhov's "The Sea Gull" and has since appeared in "Much Ado About Nothing" at New York's Public Theatre, and as "Juliet" in Chicago's Goodman Theatre production of "Romeo and Juliet".

Since 1989, Cates has been married to actor Kevin Kline, with whom she has two children.

Shay Mitchell (born Shannon Ashley Mitchell; April 10, 1987) is a Canadian actress, model, entrepreneur and author. She rose to prominence starring as Emily Fields in the Freeform series Pretty Little Liars (2010) (2010-2017).

She was born in Mississauga, Ontario, the daughter of Precious Garcia and Mark Mitchell. Her parents work in finance. Her father is of Scottish and Irish descent and her mother, a Filipina, is from the province of Pampanga, and left the Philippines at age 19. She has one younger brother named Sean. She is a first cousin-once-removed of Lea Salonga, singer and Tony Award-winning theater actress well known for originating the lead role of Kim in the musical Miss Saigon. Even as a young child, Mitchell was interested in performing arts, declaring to her parents that she would pursue such a career. Mitchell began dance lessons at the age of five, and she and several of her classmates toured the city to compete with a variety of other dance schools. At the age of 10, Mitchell's family moved to West Vancouver, British Columbia. Within a year of their arrival, an international modeling agency held an open casting call for teen and pre-teen girls who were vying for representation. Mitchell was one of the girls selected.

In December 2009, Mitchell was cast in the ABC Family (now Freeform) planned adaptation of the book series Pretty Little Liars. Initially, Mitchell auditioned for the role of Spencer Hastings. In January 2010, the series was picked up by ABC Family. The series centers on four friends up against an anonymous foe who threatens to reveal all their secrets whilst unraveling the mystery of the murder of their best friend. Mitchell portrays the role of Emily Fields, the "jock girl" of the group. The program gained quick popularity despite mixed critical reviews. The show ran for seven seasons and the series finale aired June 27, 2017.

In January 2011, Mitchell signed a contract with Procter & Gamble to be the spokesperson for the Pantene Nature Fusion shampoo line. Subsequent endorsements include American Eagle, Nike and Biore. In August 2017, Mitchell was cast in a starring role on the upcoming Lifetime television series You, in the role of socialite Peach Salinger. In September 2017, she was cast in the lead role in the ABC television pilot, The Heiresses (2018), adapted from the book with the same name from Sara Shepard and created by I. Marlene King. Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her mother, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam, and is of Chinese ancestry, while her father, Winston Barrett Munn, is from a family with deep roots in the American South. Olivia's parents divorced when she was two years old, and she was raised by her mother and stepfather, a member of the United States Air Force. Although the family departed Oklahoma and resided in many locations, she was mainly raised in Tokyo, Japan. During this time, she appeared in a number of local theater productions and later became a model in the Japanese fashion industry. When the family eventually returned to the United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. After a few small roles, her career took a very promising turn when she landed the role of Mily Acuna on the Hawaii-lensed TV series Beyond the Break (2006) and the role of Rob Schneider's receptionist in A Prueba De Hombres (2007). Kristin Kreuk was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, to Deanna Che, who is of Chinese ancestry, and Peter Kreuk, who is of Dutch descent. Her parents are landscape architects. She attended and graduated from Eric Hamber Secondary School. Although she did some stage work in school, she focused more on her studies. She described herself as shy and boring.

For her first professional work, she went to an open casting audition for Edgemont (2000), a teen drama series aired on CBC Television in Canada. She plays the role as "Laurel Yeung". Laurel was the last main character to be cast because the casting director was having a problem finding an actress. Fortunately, for them (and us), they found Kristin just in time.

Her career was set to take off when she landed on the highly acclaimed serial drama series for The WB, Smallville (2001). It follows the story of "Clark Kent" in his pre-Superman days in a small town of Smallville, Kansas. Kreuk played the role as "Lana Lang", Clark Kent's object of desire before he meets "Lois Lane".

Smallville (2001) proved to be a giant step for Kristin's acting career, as she landed several interviews with several magazines, including YM (Young and Modern) and Rolling Stone. She also did a commercial for Neutrogena, popular for its skin care products.

Moon Bloodgood was born on 20 September 1975 in Alliance, Nebraska, USA. She is an actress, known for Terminator Salvation (2009), Faster (2010) and The Sessions (2012). She was previously married to Grady Hall.

Chloe Bennet is an American actress and singer. She is best known for ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013).

Bennet was born Chloe Wang in Chicago, Illinois. Her father is Han Chinese and her mother is Caucasian American.

At 15, she moved to China to pursue a singing career under her birth name, Chloe Wang. While in China, Bennet lived with her paternal grandmother in Beijing, and studied Mandarin. She performed as a singer and then moved to Los Angeles, California. Her first on-screen appearance was as a host for the short-lived TeenNick summer dance series The Nightlife.

While pursuing an acting career in Hollywood, she changed her professional name to "Chloe Bennet", after having trouble booking gigs with her last name. According to Bennet, using her father's first name rather than his last name avoids difficulties being cast as an ethnic Asian American while respecting her father.

From 2012-2013, she played a recurring supporting role in the ABC drama series Nashville as Hailey. In December 2012, she was cast as a series regular on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Stephany Jacobsen was born in Hong Kong. She is an actress, known for Alex Cross (2012), Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008) and Battlestar Galactica: Razor (2007).

Jamie Chung was born and raised in California, the daughter of Korean parents. She studied Economics at the University of California, Riverside. Chung's break came in 2004, when she was working in a sports bar. MTV held auditions for The Real World (1992) there, she tried out, and was successful, appearing in the San Diego based fourteenth season.

Chung went on to successfully launched an acting career, making her debut with a small part in Veronica Mars (2004). Roles in other TV series followed, including Days of Our Lives (1965) and Greek (2007). She also transitioned into feature films with such projects as Sorority Row (2009), Sucker Punch (2011) and The Hangover Part II (2011).

Brittany Ishibashi was born in Orange, California, USA. Brittany is an actor, known for Grace and Frankie (2015), Runaways (2017) and The Office (2005). Brittany has been married to Jeff Horowitz since 29 May 2011. They have one child.

Linda Park was born in Seoul, South Korea. Immediately after graduating Boston University's BFA Acting program, she landed her first series regular role on Star Trek: Enterprise. She continued on to series regular roles on Raines, Women's Murder Club, and Starz' Crash. She has recurred on TNT's Legends, Amazon's Bosch, Amazon's Fairfax and Apple TV's For All Mankind. Films include Face of Love starring Annette Bening and Ed Harris, Jurassic Park 3, and a leading role in Lifetime's Black Girl Missing. She is a member of Antaeus Theater Company and has also performed at the Kirk Douglas Theater, the Getty Center, and various repertory theaters. A lifelong dancer, she has primarily studied ballet but is also proficient in lyrical jazz, ballroom, and hip-hop. She speaks conversational French and Korean.

Born to immigrants in New York City, Lucy Liu has always tried to balance an interest in her cultural heritage with a desire to move beyond a strictly Asian-American experience. Her mother, Cecilia, a biochemist, is from Beijing & her father, Tom Liu, a civil engineer, is from Shanghai. Once relegated to "ethnic" parts, the energetic actress is finally earning her stripes as an across-the-board leading lady.

She graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 1986 & enrolled in NYU. However, she was discouraged by the dark and sarcastic atmosphere, so she transferred to the University of Michigan after her freshman year. She graduated w/ a degree in Asian Languages & Cultures, managing to squeeze in some additional training in dance, voice, fine arts & acting. During her senior year, she auditioned for a small part in a production of Alice in Wonderland and walked away with the lead. Encouraged by the experience, she decided to take the plunge into professional acting. She moved to L.A., splitting her time between auditions & food service day jobs. She eventually scored a guest appearance as a waitress on Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990). That performance led to more walk-on parts in shows like NYPD Blue (1993), ER (1994) & The X-Files (1993). In 1996, she was cast as an ambitious college student on Rhea Perlman's ephemeral sitcom Pearl (1996).

She first appeared on the big screen as an ex-girlfriend in Jerry Maguire (1996) (she had previously filmed a scene in the indie Bang (1995), but it was shelved for 2 years). She then waded through a series of supporting parts in small films before landing her big break on Ally McBeal (1997). The "Ally" win gave her film career a much-needed boost-in 1999, she was cast as a dominatrix in the Mel Gibson action flick Payback (1999) & as a hitchhiker in the ill-received boxing saga Play It to the Bone (1999). The following year brought even larger roles: first as the kidnapped Princess Pei Pei in Jackie Chan's western Shanghai Noon (2000), then as one-third of the comely crime-fighting trio in Charlie's Angels (2000).

When she's not hissing at clients or throwing well-coiffed punches, she keeps busy w/ an eclectic mix of off-screen hobbies. She practices the martial art of Kali-Eskrima-Silat (knife-and-stick fighting), skis, rock climbs, rides horses &plays the accordion. Eriko made her acting debut at age 14 in the highly acclaimed Asian feature film, "Flowerly Afternoon," which was directed by Kazuki Omori, best known in the U.S. for his work with the famous "Godzilla" television series. Eriko rose to fame when she joined the popular TV show "Go with the Wild!" as a series regular. Then she starred in the award-winning NHK's mini-series "My Beloved Ultra Seven" followed by the Japan's highly regarded television series "Hideyoshi" in which she portrayed Hosokawa Garacia, a historically renowned woman in Japanese history who endured severe persecution when she became Japan's first woman to convert to Christianity. This demanding role required Eriko to play Garacia from age 14 all the way up to age 37. Between the big and small screen, Eriko also recorded and released 10 original albums and 18 singles with record label EMI, touring all over Japan giving sold out concert performances. Having played the lead in over 20 films and television series, her life would become the basis for a beloved anime series entitled: Legendary Idol Eriko, which has been translated into six languages and syndicated world-wide currently, airing in such countries as France, Italy, India and Spain.

Eriko joined the highest rated show of the 2006 - 2007 television season, NBC's drama "Heroes," as Princess Yaeko. The show received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Television Series - Drama and also won the People's Choice Award for Favorite New Television Drama. Her tough but vulnerable performance as Princess Yaeko led to her being cast in 20th Century Fox's feature "Dragonball Evolution"as sexy villainess, Mai. Soon after she joined the cast of CW's "Reaper, (2009)" as Kristen, a love interest to Tyler Labine's character Sock. Her first autobiography was published in Japan by the leading publishing company, Bungeishunjyu (2010.) In 2011, the tragedy of Japan's magnitude 9.1 earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster changed her life. Her parents' home in her hometown severely damaged by the aftermath eventually led her to shift her focus and found a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the survivors of this tragedy.

Margaret Denise Quigley was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to a father of Polish and Irish descent (originally based in New York) and a Vietnamese mother. Her parents met during the Vietnam War. Maggie has two older half-siblings from her mother's previous marriage, and two older sisters. The family moved to Hawaii and settled in Mililani.

Maggie dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, but modeled and found herself bursting onto the Hong Kong movie scene - eventually becoming a full-fledged superstar in Asia. She changed her name to the easily pronounceable "Maggie Q" (for the Chinese audience). She had a cameo in the Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker smash hit Rush Hour 2 (2001) and is part of the supporting cast in Mission: Impossible III (2006), starring Tom Cruise.

Grace Park (born March 14, 1974) is an American-Canadian actress. She gained recognition as Lt. Sharon 'Boomer' Valerii and Lt. Sharon 'Athena' Agathon on Battlestar Galactica (2004), as well as Shannon Ng in the Canadian television series teen soap Edgemont (2000). From 2010 to 2017, Park starred as Officer Kono Kalakaua in the CBS television series Hawaii Five-0 (2010), which debuted on September 20, 2010. Born in Los Angeles, Park moved with her family to Canada when she was 22 months old. She was raised in the Vancouver neighborhood of Kerrisdale. Park is of Korean heritage. She graduated from Magee Secondary School in 1992 and holds a degree in psychology from the University of British Columbia.

Nora Lum, known professionally as Awkwafina, is an American actress and rapper. She has played supporting roles in the comedy films Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians (2018), and her leading role in the comedy-drama The Farewell (2019) earned her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress nomination.

She has released two albums, Yellow Ranger (2014) and In Fina We Trust (2018). She has also ventured into comedy and hosting, making television appearances in Girl Code, Future Man, and Saturday Night Live.

Lum was born in New York City to painter and South Korean immigrant Tia, who died when she was four, and Chinese-American father Wally. She grew up in Forest Hills, Queens, raised by her father and his grandparents; she became especially close to her grandmother. One of her paternal great-grandfathers was a Chinese immigrant in the 1940s; he opened the Cantonese restaurant Lum's in Flushing, Queens that was one of that neighborhood's first Chinese restaurants.

Lum attended LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts where she played the trumpet and was trained in classical music and jazz. At age 16, she adopted the stage name Awkwafina, "definitely a person I repressed" and an alter ego to her "quiet and more passive" personality during her college years. Lum majored in journalism and women's studies at the University at Albany, State University of New York. From 2006 to 2008, Lum attended Beijing Language and Culture University in China, where she studied Mandarin.

Lum states that Charles Bukowski, Anaïs Nin, Joan Didion, Tom Waits, and Chet Baker were early influences. Prior to her career in entertainment, she was an intern at local New York publications Gotham Gazette and the Times Union newspaper in Albany, and was a publicity assistant for publishing house Rodale.

Jessalyn Wanlim was born on 3 September 1982 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She is an actress, known for Running Point (2025), Workin' Moms (2017) and Orphan Black (2013).

Constance Wu was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. Her mother is a computer programmer and her father is a college professor. Both are immigrants from Taiwan. Constance grew up in Richmond performing in the local community theater scene. At 16, she moved to New York City to study at the famed Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and she's been busy ever since. While in New York, she worked in classical theater and quickly transitioned to film work. She soon appeared in several Sundance Feature Films including Stephanie Daley (2006) and Year of the Fish (2007). In 2010, she moved to Los Angeles where her theater and film background helped land her a role in another Sundance Feature, Sound of My Voice (2011). In 2014, she was cast as Jessica Huang in the ABC comedy series Fresh Off the Boat (2015), which premiered in 2015. Based on Eddie Huang's memoir, it is set in the 1990s and revolves around a Taiwanese family that moves to suburban Orlando. Wu enjoys long-distance running, camping, piano, and reading. She lives in Silverlake, Los Angeles, with her pet rabbit, Lida Rose.

In 2018, she starred as Rachel Chu, an American college professor who dates a Singaporean multimillionaire (Henry Golding), in the smash romantic comedy hit Crazy Rich Asians (2018).

Deliciously lithe, busty, and enticing brunette knockout Hiromi Oshima was born on January 6, 1980 in Tokyo, Japan. Oshima has a B.A. in communications and speaks fluent English, Spanish, and Japanese. She eventually moved to Miami Beach, Florida and first tried out for "Playboy" magazine scouts for the 50th Anniversary Playmate Hunt. After posing for a couple of newsstand special editions and being featured in a pictorial in the December, 2003 issue of the famous men's magazine, Hiromi was chosen to be the Playmate of the Month for June, 2004. Oshima has the distinction of being the first Japanese woman to be a Playmate. She went on to pose for a few more newsstand special editions and has appeared in several "Playboy" videos. Moreover, Hiromi was the January girl in the 2005 "Playmates at Play at the Playboy Mansion" swimsuit calendar. Outside of modeling, Oshima has also worked as a photo production coordinator, stylist, and producer for a number of magazine covers and photo shoots. She appeared as herself both in the comedy film "The House Bunny" and on the realty TV series "The Girls Next Door." Hiromi is featured in the music video for "Shake Ya Tailfeather" by Nelly, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, and Murphy Lee. She has small roles in the movies "Bchelor Party 2: The Last Temptation" and "Race to Witch Mountain."

Tia Carrere, born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, was discovered in a grocery store and landed the female lead in the film Aloha Summer. She then moved to Los Angeles and continued her ascent in the acting world as a series regular on General Hospital as well as a string of guest starring roles on MacGyver, Quantum Leap, Married With Children, and Friday the 13th among others. With her iconic breakthrough role as Cassandra in Wayne's World and Wayne's World 2, Tia was able to showcase both her considerable singing as well as acting chops.
