Longest Cinematic Films
Although sitting in a theater for 2 hours and 30 minutes may feel like an eternity, there's something about that magic mark of crossing the 2 hour and 40 minute line where you've strayed so close into 3 hour territory it may as well be 3 hours considering getting to the theater, finding your seat, bathroom breaks, etc. Even if you watch the film at home--3 hours is a long time! But...sitting through a 3 hour+ plus film gives you the sense personally of completing an epic journey and immersing yourself in a well-conceived world. These are the longest cinematic films to hit the theaters and then often times land on your personal movie shelf with an even longer runtime! Am I missing a movie? Comment below!
