Henry William Dalgliesh Cavill was born on the Bailiwick of Jersey, a British Crown dependency in the Channel Islands. His mother, Marianne (Dalgliesh), a housewife, was also born on Jersey, and is of Irish, Scottish and English ancestry. Henry's father, Colin Richard Cavill, a stockbroker, is of English origin (born in Chester, England). Henry is the second youngest son, with four brothers. He was privately educated at St. Michael's Preparatory School in Saint Saviour, Jersey before attending Stowe School in Buckinghamshire, England.

His interest in acting started at an early age with school play renditions of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", and Sonny LaTierri in "Grease". When Henry was 20 years old, he gained starring roles in I Capture the Castle (2003), Hellraiser: Hellworld (2005), Red Riding Hood (2006) and Tristan + Isolde (2006). He also had a minor role in the fantasy-adventure epic Stardust (2007) alongside Sienna Miller and Ben Barnes. During 2007-2010, Henry had a leading role on the television series The Tudors (2007) as Charles Brandon, 1st Duke of Suffolk. The series was a success and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and won an Emmy Award in 2008. Entertainment Weekly named him "Most Dashing Duke".

He also starred in Blood Creek (2006) and Woody Allen's comedy film Whatever Works (2009). On January 30, 2011, it was announced that Henry Cavill had been cast as the next Superman in Man of Steel (2013), making him the first non-American actor to play Superman. The movie was directed by Zach Snyder, produced by Christopher Nolan, and scripted by David S. Goyer. On November 7, 2011, Henry starred in Tarsem Singh's fantasy-adventure epic Immortals (2011) alongside Mickey Rourke, Freida Pinto and Luke Evans. On September 7, 2012, Henry starred in the action-thriller Cold Light of Day (2003) alongside Bruce Willis and Sigourney Weaver.

On June 10, 2013, Man of Steel (2013) kicked off its world premiere in New York City followed by London, Bailiwick of Jersey, Sicily, Madrid, Shanghai, Sydney and Tokyo. The movie became the highest-grossing Superman film to date, and the second-highest-grossing reboot of all time behind The Amazing Spider-Man (2012). Glamour magazine ranked him the #1 "Sexiest Man". In August 2014, Henry became the Ambassador for Durrell Wildlife Park and created a website and social media called #CavillConservation to help raise funds and awareness for his love of animals and conservation. On November 3, 2014, it was announced that Cavill, his brother Charlie, and London-based producer Rex Glensy, have formed their own British production company, Promethean Productions.

On August 7, 2015, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (2015) began its premiere tour with a people's premiere at the famous Somerset House in London, followed by its world premiere in New York City, then Toronto, and Rio de Janeiro. Cavill reprised his role as Superman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017).

Tom was born in 1989, to two teachers, one of fourteen children and has a twin brother. Brought up in Jericho in Oxford he attended Cherwell School before joining the National Youth Theatre and enrolling at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, where he was awarded the Leverhulme Scholarship.

Additionally, Bateman recently received the Breakthrough Actor award at GQ's 2018 Men of the Year Awards.

Next, Bateman will star in the Hans Petter Moland revenge thriller "Cold Pursuit," opposite Liam Neeson, Laura Dern and Emmy Rossum, which is based on the 2014 Norwegian film "In Order of Disappearance." Premiering in February 2019, the film centres around a snowplow driver who seeks revenge against the drug dealers he thinks killed his son.

Additionally, Bateman recently began production on ITV's upcoming period drama "Beecham House," where he'll play the title role, 'John Beecham.' Written and directed by Gurinder Chadha, the series is set in late 18th century India and looks at the lives of residents living in a Delhi mansion and explores intrigue, murder and greed but also love and loyalty between a British family and their Indian relationships.

Bateman also recently played the role of 'Bouc' in Kenneth Branagh's star-studded remake of the classic Agatha Christie classic, "Murder on the Orient Express." He previously made his US feature film debut in Jonathan Levine's "Snatched" opposite Goldie Hawn and Amy Schumer.

On television, Bateman has played the title roles in ITV's "Jekyll & Hyde" and has also appeared in Hugo Blick's BBC series "The Honourable Woman", Dominik Moll's "The Tunnel", David Goyer's "Da Vinci's Demons" and Susanna White's "Parade's End," amongst several others.

Previously Bateman, as a member of the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company, collaborated with Director Branagh on his theatre productions of The Winter's Tale and Harlequinade in the West End's Garrick Theatre. Amongst numerous other theatre credits are the role of Will Shakespeare in Declan Donnellan's production of Shakespeare in Love at The Noel Coward Theatre, and productions of Lizzie Siddal, The Duchess of Malfi, The Lion in Winter and Much Ado About Nothing.

Thomas William Hiddleston was born in Westminster, London, to English-born Diana Patricia (Servaes) and Scottish-born James Norman Hiddleston. His mother is a former stage manager, and his father, a scientist, was the managing director of a pharmaceutical company. He started off at the preparatory school, The Dragon School in Oxford, and by the time he was 13, he boarded at Eton College, at the same time that his parents were going through a divorce. He continued on to the University of Cambridge, where he earned a double first in Classics. He continued to study acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, from which he graduated in 2005.

James Norton was born in 1985 to two teachers and has a younger sister who is a doctor. Growing up in North Yorkshire he espoused acting at a very early age - playing Joseph in his primary school nativity play aged five - and, after leaving Ampleforth College he did work experience at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough. Rather than go straight to acting school he read theology at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge and then travelled to Nepal, where he became interested in Buddhism. On return he enrolled at RADA in London, graduating in 2010 and, just before graduating bagging a (very) small part as Carey Mulligan's boyfriend in the final scene of 'An Education'. In 2011 he appeared on the London stage in revivals of 'Journey's End' and 'The Lion in Winter' with Joanna Lumley and Robert Lindsay. At the tail end of 2013 he was in the faux-Austen mystery 'Death Comes To Pemberley' on television but 2014 has been the year when he became known to a wider audience via the period films 'Mr Turner' and 'Belle' as the heroine's first love interest and most particularly violent serial 'Happy Valley' as a murderous kidnapper and rapist and, by contrast in the post-war set whodunit series 'Grantchester' as a tipsy young vicar with a penchant for solving cases.

Callum was born in London and grew up on a Chelsea estate - he is a huge Chelsea football fan - where, he claimed in a 2014 interview, "I learned more from films than I did through life itself." Six foot two tall, he decided to go into acting at age eighteen taking some courses and working as a model for Burberry, fronting their 2011 campaign photographed by Mario Testino. Whilst continuing to take acting lessons he was cast by John Boorman to play the director's younger self in 'Queen and Country', the sequel to 'Hope and Glory', in 2012 though it was over a year before the project got off the ground. Oliver Mansour Jackson-Cohen is an English actor and model. Maximilian Paul Diarmuid Irons is an English-Irish actor and model. He is known for his roles in Red Riding Hood (2011), The White Queen and The Host (2013), Woman in Gold and The Riot Club (2014), his first leading role in Bitter Harvest (2017), and The Wife (2018). Irons also played the lead role of Joseph Turner in the spy thriller series Condor (2018-2020).

English actor Sam Claflin was born in Ipswich, England, to Susan A. (Clarke), a classroom assistant, and Mark J. Claflin, a finance officer. As a child, he was football-mad, often going to see his favorite team, Norwich City. He was a talented footballer, playing for Norwich schools at city level and Norfolk county level. However, he suffered two broken ankles and at 16 gave up thinking about a footballing career. Douglas John Booth is an English actor. Booth was born in London, England, the son of Vivien (De Cala), an artist, and Simon Booth, who works in shipping for Citigroup. Australian actress Maeve Dermody is the daughter of Susan Murphy Dermody, a film theorist, historian, and director. Her father is a psychologist. Dermody's family encouraged a love of literature and the arts, and supported performing as well - her mother gave the 5-year-old a part in her film Breathing Under Water (1991). Dermody attended Mosman High School in Sydney and had a near perfect UAI (final school exam score) of 99.79. During high school she was active in drama classes, as well as the Australian Theatre for Young People, and furthered her acting education with several courses at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney.

She has appeared in films, including Aftershock (2012), The Green Inferno (2013), Knock, Knock (2015), and Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019). Izzo was born in Santiago, Chile, to Chilean model Rosita Parsons . She is of Italian descent on her father's side. She has a younger sister, Clara Lyon Parsons, who is a model as well. When she was twelve years old, she moved to Atlanta with her father, then working towards a Ph.D. at Georgia Institute of Technology. She was bullied over her strong Chilean accent as a child, but stated she "got over [her] accent pretty fast" after watching the 2002 sports film Blue Crush several times. Izzo recalls becoming "obsessed with [Blue Crush star] Kate Bosworth."

Swedish actress Noomi Rapace was born in Hudiksvall, Gävleborgs län, Sweden to Swedish actress Nina Norén and Spanish Flamenco singer Rogelio de Badajoz (Rogelio Durán). Her parents did not stay together, and when she was five she moved to Iceland with her mother and stepfather, where she lived for three years. When she was eight she was cast in a small role in the Icelandic film 'Í skugga hrafnsins', and this sparked her love of acting. At 15 she left home and joined the Stockholm Theatre School.

Rapace won the recurring role of Lucinda Gonzales in the Swedish TV series Tre kronor (1994), and also became a respected stage performer. She won critical acclaim for playing the leading role in 2007's Daisy Diamond (2007). In 2009, Rapace came to the attention of international audiences for her portrayal of Lisbeth Salander in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009). Lotte Verbeek is an award-winning Dutch actress, dancer and model. Lotte was born in Venlo, Netherlands. She was educated at Gymnasium Collegium Marianum in Venlo and graduated in 2008 at the Theaterschool in Amsterdam. From 1999, Verbeek attended the Dance Academy in Arnhem and the Amsterdam Academy of Jazz/Musical Theatre and Dance, where she graduated in 2006. During her studies, she worked as a dancer and model for photographer Erwin Olaf.
