Mitra was born in Paddington, London, England, the daughter of Nora Downey and Anthony Mitra, a cosmetic surgeon. She has an older and a younger brother. Her father is of Bengali Indian and English descent, and her mother is Irish. In 1984, when Mitra was eight, her parents divorced, and she was sent to boarding school. She spent several years at two different schools, including Roedean, but Mitra claims she was eventually expelled from both of them.

In 2008, Mitra starred in the lead role of the science fiction/action film Doomsday (2008) as "Major Eden Sinclair", and, in 2009, went on to star in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009) as "Sonja", the daughter of the powerful vampire elder, "Viktor" (played by Bill Nighy).

Mitra appeared as the live action model for "Lara Croft", the lead character in Eidos Interactive's Tomb Raider video game series. She was ranked #46 on the Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2001.

Alicia Vikander is a Swedish actress, dancer, and producer. Erin Cummings was born in Lafayette, LA. She traveled extensively as a child, due to her father's military career, and lived in various cities in the US as well as Seoul, Korea. After graduating from high school in Huntsville, TX, she was a member of the Kilgore College Rangerettes and received her BS in Journalism from the University of North Texas. Her studies continued at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Upon her return to the US, she starred as "Lady Macbeth" and "Queen Gertrude" in the Santa Susana Repertory Theater Company's productions of "Macbeth" and "Hamlet," respectively. Her dedication to her stage work and craft was recognized and led to her first television role: two lines as "Prostitute #1" on "Star Trek: Enterprise."

Cummings lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their collection of stray animals.

Rachel Hannah Weisz was born on 7 March, 1970, in London, U.K., to Edith Ruth (Teich), a psychoanalyst, and George Weisz, an inventor. Her parents both came to England around 1938. Her father is a Hungarian Jewish immigrant, and her mother, from Vienna, was of Italian and Austrian Jewish heritage. Rachel has a sister, Minnie, a curator and photographer.

Minnie's sister, Kate Driver, is a manager and producer.

Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley is an English actress. She is best known for her breakthrough role as "Rey" in the 2015 film, Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015). Daisy was born in Westminster, London, on April 10, 1992. She is the daughter of Louise Fawkner-Corbett and Chris Ridley. Her great-uncle was Arnold Ridley, an English actor, playwright, and appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE), who was best known for his authorship of the play, "The Ghost Train", and his role as "Private Godfrey" in the British sitcom, Dad's Army (1968). Daisy attended the Tring Park School for Performing Arts, located in Hertfordshire, England, where she trained in musical theater and graduated in 2010, at the age of 18.
