Sweet Mother of Hades, what a boring mess. I know it's a Hollywood movie, but the picture was too "clean" to make you feel you were in a war. And, of course, there had to be a lady and a kid involved. And why the hell does a WWII movie end with a fu**ing rap song over the end credits??

13. The Silence (II) (2019)

Votes: 50,854

Started out okay-ish, but quickly became a slog with only a few minutes of good stuff. Would have worked better as a 60-minutes movie, and Kiernan Shipka is as bland as ever.

14. Pet Sematary (2019)

R | 100 min | Horror, Mystery, Thriller

Votes: 98,579 | Gross: $54.72M

Unbelievably bad. Gone is the tension and the emotion. They call it a "re-imagining", but a lot of the scenes are almost exactly lifted from the 1989 version, and the changes they made to the story did no good.

R | 88 min | Horror, Thriller

A legendary psychopathic murderer stalks a summer camp.

Director: Joe Giannone | Stars: Gaylen Ross, Tony Nunziata, Harriet Bass, Seth Jones

Votes: 6,744

Dodgy editing, dodgier logic, bad acting, dialogue and dubbing, stupid decisions, a "love-scene" that went on for too long all the while a cheesy-ass song played, scenes that are waaaaay too drawn out, and I don't know why the Madman had to look and sound like a yeti. On the plus-side, it had a fun opening around a campfire and it had one effective jumpscare I didn't see coming. I got the feeling that it was rewritten from a Friday the 13th script that was rejected for being too stupid.

21. The Terror (2018–2025)

Supernatural, semihistorical, horror anthology series, where each season is inspired by a different infamous or mysterious real life historical tragedy.

Votes: 51,415

The first two or three episodes were promising but then it became a real slog to get through. Well-made and with good acting, but slowly and weirdly paced.

Director: Michael Gracey | Stars: Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams, Zac Efron, Zendaya

Votes: 311,681 | Gross: $174.34M

Quite boring, actually, too nice, too easy. And I was distracted by the songs, because so many of them were too modern for the time it's set in. Michelle Williams, Zendaya, and Rebecca Ferguson deserve so much better.

28. 21 Days (I) (2014)

TV-MA | 89 min | Horror, Thriller

Three filmmakers embark on a paranormal challenge by barricading themselves in a house so haunted, no one has been able to live in for more than 21 days.

Stars: Victoire Du Bois, Lucie Boujenah, Tiphaine Daviot, Ralph Amoussou

Votes: 18,591

I don't understand all the raving reviews, despite being only 8 episodes, with 3 of them clocking in under 40 minutes, it still dragged. Sometimes it seemed like it wanted to be comedy rather than horror. Also, if they had dropped the unnecessary romantic subplots and all the flashbacks, they could have made it at least one episode shorter.

30. Cult of Chucky (2017)

R | 91 min | Horror, Thriller

69 Metascore

Chucky returns to terrorize his human victim, Nica. Meanwhile, the killer doll has some scores to settle with his old enemies, with the help of his former wife.

Director: Don Mancini | Stars: Allison Dawn Doiron, Alex Vincent, Brad Dourif, Fiona Dourif

Votes: 29,783

Don Mancini should just have stopped after the first one.

In a city of humanoid animals, a hustling theater impresario's attempt to save his theater with a singing competition becomes grander than he anticipates even as its finalists find that their lives will never be the same.

Directors: Garth Jennings, Christophe Lourdelet | Stars: Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson

Votes: 191,321 | Gross: $270.40M

Very few funny scenes, generally it was just plain boring.

32. P.O.V (2014)

84 min | Horror

If you could see what I see.

Director: Richard Anthony Dunford | Stars: Tom Clear, Karl Kennedy-Williams, Tuula Costelloe, Lewis Saunderson

Votes: 362

Filled to the brim with annoying characters, bad acting, and bad production "values". It's only 84 minutes long, but it takes 45 minutes for ANYTHING at all to happen, but it's crappy and boring and stupid.

33. C.H.U.D. (1984)

R | 87 min | Drama, Horror

Two brothers team-up to battle a creature under the bed.

Director: Steven C. Miller | Stars: Jonny Weston, Gattlin Griffith, Peter Holden, Musetta Vander

Votes: 2,955

Nonsensical. The lead character was cute, though, so an extra star for that.

35. The Pool (2014)
