Watch when stoned

This movie tripped me the *beep* out. It's over the top as sh*t but hilariously so. Especially the characters; their interactions are so ridiculous that it will boggle sober, sane minds. And the visual trips are way exaggerated and even downright horrifying sometimes, that you can't help but feel that this is kind of a PSA in disguise.
Overall, a surreal experience that's only marred by a convoluted plot - isn't that basically what being high is?

This movie is chill as *beep* and then levels up to epic *beep* in like no time. The pacing of the movie is pretty slow though I think, but crazy, ridiculous situations just keep happening, each increasingly more and more *beep* up than the last. And all this happened because 2 stoned guys were at the wrong place at the wrong time - God damn it.

A classic in the stoner movies niche, for good reason. The funny situations felt believable and actually realistic, unlike a lot of movies involving drugs.

Most stoner movies always create absurd, terrible situations for the stoned characters so it'd be funny cause they'll trip. In this movie, all that sh*t becomes under the bridge within minutes. It's definitely a don't worry be happy film which should crush your weed-induced paranoia. Why trip man? Just relax...

Maybe I really liked this film because I first watched it in High School, and even though the hazing and all that sh*t isn't relatable to me, the characters are.

Wes Anderson's one of my favourite directors out there. This movie has his trademark symmetrical shots and horizontal camera pans. A visual ecstasy, backed by funny, downright -cartoonish-sometimes acting, this movie is a treat. It's just such a pity the ending was a downer. But eh, like really good weed, this movie is worth its duration, everything is nice and pretty, and the come down, is well, like a come down.

My first stoner film, and oh man, it's hard to top. Let's just ignore the sequels and love this movie for what it is: a hilarious, drug-induced misadventure that was initially sparked into existence by sweet Mary Jane.

This movie is for stoned people. I mean it's a movie where a dog takes a toke and starts flying over New York City. Oh and it's got Dave Chapelle, AKA superior Kevin Hart, so it's actually really funny.

Okay, just seeing Robert Downey Jr play as a really stereotypical African American (very well) trips me out. And then I see fat suit Tom Cruise and knew this movie was something special. This movie is pretty meta too, taking jabs at Hollywood itself. When you're stoned, man, the hilarious dialogue and exaggerated action scenes are 10 times funnier.

When you feel that mellow high, where you don't really giggle much but nod your head to Reggae tunes, watch this movie. It's probably one of the most beautiful movies I've ever watched, all the while exploring a profound theme on the backdrop of a surreal adventure.
Sounds deep? Well, just hit the spliff and take your mind out for a trip with this.

Yeah, I know, another Wes Anderson movie, and I'm not even white. But man, I'm a sucker for his style of cinematography and quirky humour. This movie's like an emotional roller coaster (or should I say train), some parts I laugh, some parts I feel sad, and some parts I downright wonder what the *beep* genre of film I'm watching. But hey, that's why I like it, it's a trip of its own.

Man, this movie is too *beep* funny. The stupid sh*t these highway cops do are so cartoonish and childish, you start questioning whether the reason you get pulled over sometimes is because the Officer is just bored. It's goofball comedy done right I'd say.

I don't even have to say much about this classic, but I will say my own shortened thoughts of this movie: it makes me happy. The Dude is so chill, I'm always happy to see him, the dream sequence makes me super *beep* happy, man, The Big Lebowski makes me happy.

A fantastic visual adventure, and well, my childhood really. Why watch it when you're stoned? Come on, you want to journey into the spirit world don't you?

I'm usually really *beep* scared of dolls. But the sh*t the puppets in this movie does are funny as hell. I mean imagine marionettes firing bazookas and having sex and sh*t This movie is like if that one *beep* up 10 year old kid in your neighbourhood who swears at the teenagers played with his action figures.
