Morena Baccarin was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to actress Vera Setta and journalist Fernando Baccarin. Her uncle was actor Ivan Setta. She is of Italian as well as Lebanese and Portuguese/Brazilian descent. She moved to New York at the age of 10, when her father was transferred there. She attended the LaGuardia High School of Music and Performing Arts and then the Juilliard School.

Staying in New York she worked in the theater, notably in the Central Park production of Anton Chekhov's "The Seagull" where she was also Natalie Portman's understudy, and also appeared in several movies. She also starred in the music video for Coldplay's 2014 single "True Love". Lucas was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. She began acting at seven years old, and trained with the Children's Arts Theatre School in Toronto. She started her career appearing in stage productions, including local productions of Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs, Grease, Cinderella, Mousetrap and Music Medley.

Maggie Geha was born on 4 April 1988 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. She is an actress, known for Ted 2 (2015), Winter's Tale (2014) and Gotham (2014).

Crystal Reed is of half-Native American and half-Polish descent. Growing up in Detroit, Michigan, she began studying the arts a young age. She pursued dance and theater as a child and began working as an actor in local productions. She later attend Wayne State University where she was admitted into the highly regarded Bachelor of Fine Arts program for theater. After leaving college, Crystal began modeling and acting. Jamie Chung was born and raised in California, the daughter of Korean parents. She studied Economics at the University of California, Riverside. Chung's break came in 2004, when she was working in a sports bar. MTV held auditions for The Real World (1992) there, she tried out, and was successful, appearing in the San Diego based fourteenth season.

Chung went on to successfully launched an acting career, making her debut with a small part in Veronica Mars (2004). Roles in other TV series followed, including Days of Our Lives (1965) and Greek (2007). She also transitioned into feature films with such projects as Sorority Row (2009), Sucker Punch (2011) and The Hangover Part II (2011).

Karen Sheila Gillan was born and raised in Inverness, Scotland, as the only child of Marie Paterson and husband John Gillan, who is a singer and recording artist. She developed a love for acting very early on, attending several youth theatre groups and taking part in a wide range of productions at her school, Charleston Academy.

At age 16, Karen decided she wanted to pursue her acting career further and, studied under the renowned theatre director Scott Johnston at the Performing Arts Studio Scotland. Audrey Esparza is an American actress best known for her role as FBI agent Tasha Zapata, on the American television series Blindspot. Esparza trained at the Experimental Theatre Wing at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Esparza's film credits include: Family Practice, Amateurs, The Americans, The Following, Blue Bloods, Golden Boy, Floating Sunflowers, Power, Black Box, Madam Secretary, Public Morals, and her main character as Tasha Zapata, an FBI agent on Blindspot.

Julie Benz was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA on May 1, 1972. Julie's father is a Pittsburgh surgeon and her mother is a figure skater. The family settled in nearby Murrysville, when Julie was two, and she started ice skating at age three. She competed in the 1988 U.S. Championships in junior ice dancing with her partner David Schilling, coming in 13th. Her older brother and sister, Jeffrey and Jennifer, were 1987 U.S. Junior Champions in ice dancing and competed internationally. When Julie was 14, she had a bad stress fracture and had to take time off.

By 1989, with her figure skating career over, Julie turned to acting and got involved in the local theater where she got a role in the play "Street Law". Her first movie role was a small credited speaking part in the Black Cat segment of the Dario Argento/George A. Romero co-direction horror flick, Two Evil Eyes (1990), playing in one scene alongside Harvey Keitel. A year later, she got a role on a TV show called Hi Honey, I'm Home (1991).

After graduating from high school, Julie entered New York University to study acting there. After graduation, Julie moved to Los Angeles to further pursue her career and landed some small roles in movies and TV shows including a guest appearance on Married... with Children (1987) and in the Aaron Spelling TV pilot Crosstown Traffic (1995).

She landed another notable role on the TV-cable series Dexter (2006) playing "Rita", a troubled divorcée and lover of the title character played by Michael C. Hall. Jaime Murray is a British actress, activist and television producer who lives and works in Los Angeles California. Trained at Drama Centre London before playing con artist Stacie Monroe in the BBC series Hustle upon graduation in 2004. The role of Lila West in the Showtime series Dexter took her to Los Angeles in 2007 where she has since lived and worked. Jaime is developing a limited TV series about the The Life and Death of John Allen Chau. The series will tell the story of the 26-year old Chinese American, who believed he was called by God to save the souls of the last 'uncontacted tribe' on earth by converting them to Christianity. She will exec produce with UCP, Littleton Road Productions and Activist Artists Management. Nicole Muñoz was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. She began her acting career at the age of four. With over fifteen years experience Nicole has garnered over 40 credits including beloved shows such as Once Upon A Time, Supernatural, The 100, Defiance and a lead role in SYFY's Van Helsing.

Monica Raymund is best know for starring as Gabriela Dawson in the NBC drama Chicago Fire (2012).

A graduate of the Juilliard School, she is the recipient of the John Houseman Award for her commitment and dedication. Immediately following her graduation, she went on to star opposite Tim Roth for three seasons in Lie to Me (2009). During this time, she also became a founding member of the Mechanicals Theatre Group, has been on faculty and co-head of the Communications Department at the Heifetz Institute, and served as faculty for the Broadway Theatre Project. Raymund also served on the board and faculty of the Performing Arts Project and a board member for The Hollywood Arts Organization in Los Angeles. She was an executive producer of the independent feature The Submarine Kid (2015) and founder/president of the theatrical production company SISU Theatrical Productions, LLC. Cara Gee is a Canadian film, television, and stage actress.

Gee was primarily known as a stage actress in Toronto, Ontario, where her acting credits included productions of Margaret Atwood's The Penelopiad, Daniel MacIvor's Arigato, Tokyo, Tomson Highway's The Rez Sisters, Cliff Cardinal's Stitch, Birdtown and Swanville's 36 Little Plays About Hopeless Girls and Louise Dupré's Tout Comme Elle.

She made her feature film debut in Empire of Dirt for which she was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award. The film also won a Special Jury award at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival and Cara won Best Actress at the American Indian Film Festival. Gee has also worked in television, playing guest roles in the television series King and Republic of Doyle. In 2014, she starred as the lead character in the Western drama series Strange Empire on CBC Television, for one season until it was cancelled in 2015.

As of 2016, Gee stars in the 33-episode web series Inhuman Condition, which airs on the KindaTV YouTube channel. In 2017 she began to star in the recurring role of Camina Drummer on the Amazon television series The Expanse.

Anna Hopkins was born in Montréal, Quebec to artists Tom Hopkins and Rita Markovits. She is of Jewish Romanian and Hungarian descent from her mother's side, and Scottish, Welsh descent on her father's side. Fluent in French and English, she works in film and television in both languages. Anna's feature film debut was in Barney's Version opposite Paul Giamatti, which launched her into an extensive in television career portraying fan favorite regular roles in shows like The Expanse, Arrow, The Flash and Shadowhunters. The latter earning her a Teen Choice Award nomination for choice TV Villain. Shantel Yvonne VanSanten is an American model and actress, born July 25, 1985. As a model, she has been featured in the magazines Teen Vogue and Seventeen. VanSanten was born in Luverne, Minnesota. She is of Dutch and one quarter Norwegian descent. VanSanten was raised in Spring, Texas where she attended Incarnate Word Academy (an all-girls college prep school) in Houston and Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. VanSanten also started her career as a model at the age of fifteen for the Page Parkes Management.

Oona Chaplin is a Spanish actress. Her mother is Geraldine Chaplin. She is also the granddaughter of English film actor Charlie Chaplin, and great-granddaughter of American playwright Eugene O'Neill. She is best known for playing Talisa Maegyr in the HBO TV series Game of Thrones and Zilpha Geary in Taboo.

She was named after her maternal grandmother, Oona O'Neill Chaplin.

Born and raised in Montreal, Emily Hampshire has made an indelible mark on the Canadian film and television industry in a relatively short period of time. She starred in the futuristic-zombie movie The Returned (2013) by Manuel Carballo, wrapped That Burning Feeling (2013) starring John Cho and stars All the Wrong Reasons (2013) in alongside Kevin Zegers and Cory Monteith. She also has a recurring role as a key supporting cast member in the wildly successful series Schitt's Creek (2015): motel front desk clerk Stevie Budd. Meaghan Rath was born on 18 June 1986 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She is an actress and producer, known for Hawaii Five-0 (2010), New Girl (2011) and Schitt's Creek (2015). She has been married to Jack Cutmore-Scott since 16 May 2020. They have two children.

Stacey Farber is a Canadian actress. She is known for playing Ellie Nash in seasons 2 through 8 of the television series Degrassi: The Next Generation. From 2010 to 2011, she starred in the CBC series 18 to Life with fellow Canadian Michael Seater of Life with Derek. From 2014 to 2017, Farber played Sydney Katz on the Canadian medical drama Saving Hope.

Toronto native Cassie Steele joins the cast of THE L.A. COMPLEX as Abby. The aspiring Canadian actress is best known for her role as Manny Santos on 10 seasons of the internationally acclaimed drama series Degrassi: The Next Generation. Cassie was a 2003 nominee and the 2002 winner of a Young Artist Award for Best Ensemble Actor in a TV Series for her portrayal of Manny Santos. THE L.A. COMPLEX will premiere in Canada starting on January 12, 2012.

Cassie's other television credits include a lead role in the Disney MOW Lamont's Maccabees, young Sydney in the series Relic Hunter (2002 Young Artist Award nomination for Best Performance in a TV Drama Series), Julie in Full Court Miracle (2004 Young Artist Award nomination for Best Performance in a TV Movie), and a guest appearance on Doc. In the summer of 2007 Cassie played the role of Blu in three episodes of the hit CTV dramatic series Instant Star.

Cassie's love of the arts extends beyond acting. As a talented singer/songwriter, Cassie released her debut album "How Much for Happy" in 2005 and her second album "Destructo Doll" in July 2009. Cassie is currently hard at work on her third album.

When Cassie is not working on set she can be found painting, taking photos, spending time with her friends, swimming, and working out with her trainer. She also spends 99% of her time with her dogs.
