Stranger Things - Season 2 Review
Season rating - 8.5-great
Highlight episode - Chapter Nine: The Gate
MVP - Noah Schnapp
Another great installment of the series which helped broaden the scale and continued the fun '80s style of horror and comedy - as well as a coming of age tale. MBB was great once again, as was Harbour especially, not to take anything away from the rest of the cast which were all great. However, Will finally got a good dose of screentime and to great effect as Schnapp provided an excellent physical performance. Max was a fine addition - her brother not so much - and I really liked Bob despite his limited development and his parts in episode 8 were especially intense. Episode 7 I didn't find to be that bad, it was weaker than the rest but I liked where it took Eleven. The finale was great and although it didn't pack as much of a punch as the first season's was still very satisfying.
