Bukow & König

A 13 year old girl is found murdered body dumped. Bukow has just been transferred and put in charge of König and her team to investigate. Bukow is in charge but König has also been assigned to investigate him, but it's unclear exactly why. A complex case soon unfolds.

An apparently homeless man disturbs a family at a food court. The husband follows the man into the woods and is killed...by a landmine! Meanwhile König is called away from her desk, leaving her computer unlocked and someone steals her files. And then a friend of Bukow is found drowned. The game's afoot!

Lutz Brückmann, a man who lost his daughter to a useless ("tick meningitis") vaccination five years earlier, is obsessed with revenge against the big Pharma company, Geiger, and its CEO, who counts "dead test studies" as "incomplete test studies" in order to avoid bad press. Geiger has managed to buy plenty of politicians, including a powerful prosecutor, practically guaranteeing they can continue to hock their wares and cover-up their evil deeds. Somehow, the shadowy Serbian, Zoran Subocek, is involved, raising Konig's interest in the case. Bukow & Konig are determined to out Geiger, despite admonishments from their kowtowed bosses, while saving the life of its prime target, Brückmann.

König keeps passing an abandoned car on the way to work, so she has it towed to the scrapyard where a corpse is found in the trunk. The deceased may have been a blackmailer. Bukow presses König as to when her investigation of him will be over.

In a small town in northern Germany are two ex-prisoners are sharing a house. One of them has been detained for raping, the other one being a pedophile. When one day a homeless woman is found dead, abused and raped on a park bench, the village's community has no doubts who to account the crime for. Bukow an König begin investigating through a maze of prejudices and intrigues.

An old unsolved murder that Inspector Röder had been handling at the time is being reopened. The perpetrator was acquitted at the time. Bukow and König throw themselves into the investigation. After a new DNA test, it is clear: Guido Wachs, who was not convicted at the time, is actually the murderer of the young girl. But once someone has been accused and acquitted, they cannot simply go to court again for the same crime. Bukow and König desperately try to establish the connection between further murders and Guido Wachs in order to put the perpetrator behind bars after all.

In Rostock, the head of a private children's home is found shot. A home child quickly comes under suspicion. However, Keno has disappeared - and together with him apparently Samuel, the son of Inspector Bukow. Was Samuel also involved or is he a keno hostage? The Rostock police chief Henning Röder transfers the management of the investigation to Katrin König. The trail of the two youngsters leads to Poland .

"Dark Twin" - A 16 Years old female runaway was found dead in Rostock. During their investigation the investigators König (Koenig) and Bukow find out about similar unsolved murder cases from 15 Years ago.
