Jennifer was born in Kentucky. Her mother is Catherine Mitchell and her father is Robert Carpenter.
She attended St. Raphael the Archangel and then Sacred Heart Academy. During her last two years of high school, she studied drama at the Walden Theatre in Louisville, Kentucky. She then trained at the Juilliard School in New York City. In 2002, before she graduated, she made her Broadway debut in the revival of Arthur Miller's "The Crucible", starring Liam Neeson and Laura Linney.
Her breakthrough film role was "Emily Rose" in The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005). She won a MTV Movie Award for "Best Frightened Performance" and a Hollywood Life Breakthrough Award. She was also named "Breakout Performer" at the 2006 Scream Awards.
In 2006, she cast as Dexter's adoptive sister in Showtime's Dexter (2006). Here, she met her first husband, Michael C. Hall.
In 2011, she starred in the off-Broadway play, "Gruesome Playground Injuries", at Second Stage Theatre and had a guest appearance on the CBS drama, The Good Wife (2009).
In January, 2014, it was announced that Carpenter will star in a new ABC drama Sea of Fire (2014), playing "FBI Agent Leah Pierce". However, the show was not picked into series.
In August, 2014, it was announced that she will provide the voice of "Juli Kidman" in the survival horror video game, The Evil Within (2014), marking her first video game appearance. The game was released in October 2014.- Producer

Andrea Bogart is a Missouri born actress and trained dancer, honored with the "Outstanding Young Alumni" award in 2011 from Missouri State University. While she's a small town girl at heart, the world has been her oyster having traveled for work in places as far as Japan and Fiji.
After dancing her way onto the big screen in The Master of Disguise (2002) and popular shows like Grounded for Life (2001), Nikki, and several national commercials, Andrea shifted her focus from a disciplined, professional dancer into a working actress. Appearing in Steven Soderbergh's feature, Side Effects (2013) opposite Jude Law and starring Rooney Mara, and the comedies; Back in the Day (2014), The Secret Lives of Dorks (2013) and Bar Starz (2008). She's recurred on the successful web series Zac and Mia (2017) and Showtimes hit Ray Donovan (2013). Through the years she has appeared in all three CSI shows and kept busy with other guest-starring roles on some of the top series on TV, such as; Lucifer (2016), The Odd Couple (2015), NCIS (2003), Castle (2009), Rizzoli & Isles (2010), The Mentalist (2008), Two and a Half Men (2003), Nip/Tuck (2003), Ghost Whisperer (2005), as well as others. In 2010 she captured the hearts of many portraying the role of Abby Haver in over 100 episodes on the Emmy award winning series General Hospital (1963). Adding stage work to her impressive list of credits, she played a dancer-choreographer in Lanford Wilson's Burn This. Her performance in the play A Postcard from L.A, won her this accolade in the trade paper Backstage: "delightful...equal parts sultry siren and irritating vixen."
No stranger to the small screen, some of Andrea's nationally run commercials include Honda, Direct TV, a Super Bowl ad for Coors Light, AT&T, Cadillac, Electrolux, Taco Bell, Pantene, Nike, Bud Light, Old Navy, Gap to name a few. In addition, she has appeared in music videos for such artists as Smash Mouth, 98 Degrees, Moby and Marc Anthony and shot global Ad campaigns for United Airlines Chase Credit Card, Crystal Cruises and Botox for Migraines.
Outside of Acting, Bogart is a proud member of the 501(c)3 non-profit organization "The New Hollywood" with branches for women and men dedicated to supporting socially conscious storyteller and change makers. Nicky Whelan is an Australian actress and model, best known for her role as "Pepper Steiger" in the Australian television series, Neighbours (1985). She is the granddaughter of AFL Brownlow Medallist Marcus Whelan.

Godfrey's career came to a sudden halt when she was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2006. While cancer treatment was eventually successful, the therapy lasted seven months. Afterwards Godfrey returned to L.A. and scored guest roles on such shows like Cold Case (2003) and CSI: Miami (2002). Her big break didn't come until 2012 though when she scored the prestigious role of Caroline Spencer on the daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful (1987). Tragedy struck again as the actress was injured in an automobile accident on February 2, 2015, after being struck by a moving car while walking on the sidewalk in Los Angeles. The real-life events were later incorporated into the series as her character experienced the same accident (off-screen). From 2013 to 2015 Godrey was in a relationship with and engaged to fellow actor Robert Adamson who plays Noah Newman on sister-show The Young and the Restless (1973). Carla Gugino was born in Sarasota, Florida, to Carl Gugino, an orthodontist. She is of Italian (father) and English-Irish (mother) ancestry. Gugino moved with her mother to Paradise, California, when Carla was just five years old. During her childhood, they moved many times within the state. Actress, writer and producer Lauren Swickard has written and sold multiple original screenplays throughout her short but impressive professional career. Most recently, she created, wrote, produced and starred in A California Christmas, one of a small handful of feature films to start and complete production in the midst of the pandemic. The film is in post-production and is slotted for broad release in December, 2020 as a Netflix Original.
Lauren's most recent endeavor is lead writer and producer for Casa Grande - an episodic series she created that is scheduled for distribution in January, 2021. The narrative explores the dramatic truths of our country's allure to immigrants and illustrates what mankind will endure in pursuit of the American dream.
A Cincinnati native, Lauren excelled in the arts at a young age. Her artistic talent stems from her early years in musical theatre, pre-professional ballet, and studies at The E.W. Aubrey Shea Peeples (she/they) is a queer actor and jazz pop musician from the swampy suburbs of Florida. They grew up a theater rat, working in professional theater by age ten. After deferring Harvard to continue pursuing her film career, they joined ABC's Nashville as Layla Grant - a woman who, after becoming semi-famous as a teenager on a vocal competition show, struggles with depression, addiction, divorce, and estrangement from her family while exploring who she truly is as an artist. During her time on the show Aubrey had the honor of touring the country and performing at the Grand Ole Opry multiple times, playing blues and soul music. Since her time on the show, she has shot several independent films including her writing & directorial debut "Decadeless," which premiered at the Portland Oregon Women's Film Festival in 2019 and can be found on youtube. They also lead Carrie Brownstein's pilot "Search & Destroy" for Hulu, based on her band Sleater-Kinney. Aubrey's debut album "Happy Birthday" was released on her birthday, November 26, 2021, under her musical alter ego "swampz" and is now streaming everywhere including spotify and apple music. While sonically referencing jazz, 1940s-era studio movie musicals, and 80s synth pop, this album thematically focuses on depression, anxiety, and PTSD. They are currently (2022) leading Kit Williamson's new television series "Unconventional" as Margot, a queer bipolar human coming to terms with her childhood trauma while embarking on starting a family. In the future, Aubrey would like to go to school and major in Human Evolutionary Biology, Ecology, and Sociology.

Her father, Alden Brewster, is an American-born investment banker, who has English, Scottish, and Irish ancestry. Her paternal grandfather, Mayflower descendant Kingman Brewster, Jr., was president of Yale University from 1963 to 1977. Jordana was raised in London, England up until the age of six. At this time, her family decided to move back to her mother's native Rio de Janeiro. Here, they would stay for the next 4 years.
