Kodi Smit-McPhee

Born in Australia in 1996, Kodi Smit-McPhee has already amassed a number of memorable and powerful performances in just a handful of movies. In 2007, he won the Australian Film Institute's Young Actor's Award for Romulus, My Father, which also garnered him a lead actor nomination (he lost to co-star Eric Bana). Hollywood quickly came calling in the form of both film and TV, and he lends his voice to the lead character in this summer's offbeat animated flick ParaNorman.
