Fallout 3 Movie: Cast

James (Father) - Neeson already has connections to not only the game but the character as well considering he was the voice actor for James. I think he'd jump at the opportunity to play the part in an actual movie and I'd jump at the chance to see him play the role. Neeson would provide some star power for the movie, bringing in some viewers that aren't familiar with the game.

The Lone Wanderer - Dean is a little older than I'm sure the average custom Lone Wanderer is but I'd still like to see him in the role. Dean is one of the most underrated actors in Hollywood and he wouldn't demand a huge paycheck. I think he's easily got the acting chops for the role and he has the appropriate physical presence as well. This could be a breakout role for the talented actor.

Augustus Autumn - I really mulled this role over as I feel it's one that would play a greater part if a movie were made. Autumn would be the face of the Enclave so the actor has to have some serious acting chops. Guy Pearce may very well be the most underrated actor right now. He was brilliant in the great movie 'Memento' and even gave people a reason to watch "Lockdown". Thus, I think he'd be the perfect choice for this role.

President John Henry Eden - McDowell, much like Neeson, would be reprising the role he already provided the voice for in the game. Considering the realization of McDowell's character towards the end of the game, this wouldn't be a demanding job for McDowell and I think it's one he'd enjoy doing.

Three Dog - Something about Three Dog just screams Cheadle too me. Cheadle is another talented actor who won't demand a huge paycheck for his part in the film. He's got a voice The Lone Wanderer wouldn't mind hearing when he's ducked inside of a cave resting up so he doesn't have to walk around at night trying to steer clear of Mole Rats and Deathclaws.

Sarah Lyons - This one was a tough decision for me. Sarah Lyons is kind of a hard character to cast. Sarah is easy on the eyes but she definitely takes some names. The character has to be equally beautiful and tough, so Scarlett somewhat fits the bill. She's done a decent job of playing Black Widow in The Avengers so maybe should do this job just fine. If not, you can go typecast by bringing in Milla Jovovich.

Amata - This was one of the easier roles to cast. Zoe is a talented and beautiful young actress that already somewhat resembles Amata. Her role wouldn't be a huge one but I think her talents could make it a memorable one.

The Overseer - If you're casting Amata, you have to cast her misguided father too, right? Reddick is an incredible talent and was one of the greatest things to come out of 'The Wire'. I'd love to see him play a different role in The Overseer. It could leave many wishing he got more screen time to flesh out his character.

Narrator - Perlman is another actor who has connections to the game already. It just wouldn't feel right if Ron's voice didn't come into play at the beginning and end of the movie for narration purposes.

Jonas - Mos Def is another actor who is flying way below the radar right now. The role of Jonas isn't a big one but it's meant to be an emotional one. Mos Def knows how to get the audience behind his character...he could make Jonas's outcome a real emotional one.

Mr. Burke - This isn't a character that I feel would get much screen time. But Hiddleston is a great talent who proved he could play slimy and conniving well when took the role as Loki in 'Thor' and 'The Avengers'. He could definitely capture the cold, calculating man that is Mr. Burke.

Butch DeLoria - I thought about casting Hardy as Augustus Autumn but I changed my mind when I thought of Guy Pearce for the role. That being said, I'd still like to see Hardy play a role in the movie. He could easily handle the role of The Lone Wanderer's vault nemesis. And hey, maybe he could be a companion later on?

Elder Owyn Lyons - This was a fairly easy choice as I've always thought of Hurt filling in Elder Lyon's shoes. Hurt is one of the greatest actors to ever grace the silver screen and he'd be a great addition to the cast.

Lucas Simms - This was the casting I was most excited about. Lucas Simms is one of my favorite characters in Fallout 3 and Elba is my favorite actor. I have no doubt in my mind that Elba's presence would have viewers wishing that The Lone Wanderer stuck it out in Megaton. He resembles the Sheriff/Mayor and he's just as likeable. If a Fallout 3 Movie ever happens, this casting HAS to happen.

Fawkes - I imagine that if there ever were a Fallout 3 movie made, Fawkes would be CGI. JRD has the voice to fill the role and I think he'd easily capture the loveable super mutant.

Doctor Li - Michelle is hands down the best actress for the job. She's one of the finer actresses out there, she resembles Dr. Li and she's also great at playing supporting roles. This would be a minor role in the film but still a very important one. Having a talented actress such as Yeoh in a supporting role could only benefit the film greatly.

Eulogy Jones - I imagine that they'd fit in some screen time to show the slave epidemic taking over the wasteland. You can't do that without giving some screen time to the biggest slaver of them all, Eulogy Jones. Jamie has just the personality to bring the flamboyance of Eulogy to life. No doubt, it would be an entertaining set of scenes.

Allistair Tenpenny - Well he isn't quite 80 but he is one of the most talented actors of all time. I'd love to see this guy take the role however short it may be. Cromwell steals just about every scene he's ever been in. I can easily visualize him sitting on his balcony awaiting the implosion of Megaton.

Commander Jabsco - Rooker is an unbelievably under appreciated talent that would be a great addition to this cast. He has a knack for dropping jaws with his dominating screen presence. Which is why I think he'd be perfect for Commander Jabsco, the Commander of the mercenary group called the Talon Company. His role would be limited but he's played many roles that were short yet impactful. This would be no different!

Talon Mercenary #1: You can't involve the Talon Company or Commander Jabsco without bringing in a mercenary or two. The part wouldn't be huge but it would be great for Norman Reedus who knows a thing or two about playing a badass. For The Walking Dead fans, it would be a nice reunion of Reedus and Rooker who play storyline brothers.

Talon Mercenary #2: Flanagan much like Reedus, is perfect in supporting roles. He also knows a thing or two about playing a badass. Flanagan, also like Reedus, is a very underrated actor who fills his roles perfectly. He's got the look for a mercenary and I'd enjoy seeing Reedus and Flanagan cornering our Lone Wanderer a time or two.

Vance - I'm a huge Ben Foster fan, so I'd love to see him in any film that I'm passionate about. I'm not sure that the film would bother with the story that concerns the "Vampire" named Vance. But if it did, it would be a fun little role for one of the most talented actors out there. Foster delivers nothing but greatness in every role he's ever been in. He may be worth trying to fit in the Arefu storyline.
