And even though she has not made a movie in so Long, Brigitte is still Very Active, Fighting for the Right of animals and Seals in Particular! More Kudos, to Brigitte!

Uma was great as a Teen Ager in Gilliam's Extravaganza's "Munchausen" or Frear's Excellent Rendition of "Dangerous Liasons",she was a Perfect Enigmatic Dark Lady in the underrated Thriller "Final Analysis" and she created a Myth out of her Character in Tarantino's Best Film to Date"Pulp Fiction".She has done many underrated Films(the Gorgeous"Vatel" and the Pictorial Portrait of Henry james'Classic"The Golden Bowl" by Merchant-Ivory), but she kicked serious ass in the "Kill Bill" Series and she has found a great new vehicle: Romantic Comedies! And at 41 she is still Gorgeous!

She was a sensation at 12 next to Laurence Olivier in a Little Romance in Venice among 2 adolescents, she was a Star in the mid 80's with Films like Walter Hill's "Streets Of Fire" and Coppola's "The Outsiders",she went on with a few lower keys Films for a While, until Hollywood imposed her back with Coppola's "Jack" and Sylvester Stallone's amusing "Judge Dredd", but it took Adrian Lyne's taste to Give her the Protagonist Role who transitioned Diane into Mature Roles in the Very Successful,Oscar Nominated, "Unfaithful".
She's been a Wonderful,Pretty, and Reliable Star since then.

Well, Dominique Sanda, is not a Name that will be Known to most Americans. But she was a Superstar in the 1970's/1980's, thanks to playing Lead Roles in Masterpieces like Bresson's "Una Femme Douce", Maximilian Schell's gorgeous rendition of Turgenev's Classic "First Love" with another Icon of the 70's,Handsome young Boy,John Moulder Brown from Deep End by Skolimowski(other Masterpiece!). Oh By The Way: It would be Real Nice to have 2 Nice DVD Editions of those two great Films! So maybe someone by reading this,Hopefully,we'll think about Making Them!
Dominique Sanda became a Superstar by playing a tragic Dark Lady in Bernardo Bertolucci's masterpice "The Conformist"(1971) another of my Favorite Movies ever, and a Year later, she Broke the heart of the Entire World (and I am not exaggerating!) when She Played Wealthy Deported Jew Micol in the Academy Award Winning "The Gardens of The Finzi-Contini's" an international Success directed by master Vittorio De Sica. From there on Dominique worked internationally in Exceptional Films like playing a Mysterious Spy in the Excellent John Huston's Thriller"The Mackintosh Man" opposite Paul Newman and James Mason,or Playing the Restless Lead of the Romantic Visionary Drama"Impossible Object"directed by the Great John Frankenheimer,opposite an all star cast. She was Robert De Niro's unforgettable Futuristic Wife in another masterpiece from Bertolucci "1900" and she won best Actress Award at the 1976 Cannes Film Festival for her Turn as a Greedy femme fatale in "The Inheritance" with Anthony Quinn. Sanda went on working with amazing Directors in Great international Films until the late 1990's when she decided to Retire and she lives now in Buenos Aires.

She achieved bombshell Status in the Excellent "Salon Kitty"(1976) directed by Tinto Brass, who also wanted her a couple of years later to play the Lead female Role of Drusilla in the Famous and Controversial "Caligula"(1980) with Malcolm McDowell, Helen Mirren,Peter O'Toole,and John Gielgud,among Others!
When Therese's career(thanks to a few other very interesting Films) was taking Off to the Highets Peeks, the young Actress decided to retire from Acting,when she was not even 30,and despite the numerous Offers Pouring. She is Today happily married with a wealthy italian Businessman and she Lives between London,Milan and The Island of Sardinia, never even accepting to talk to the Press.

I always Liked Kate Winslet very,very Much,but never thought as her as one Of my Real Favorites. A bit like Michelle Pfeiffer, whom I always loved and admired, but never Liked so much in Pictures,because of her "Too Controlled" Studio's Choices when deciding what Film to Take on Next(although i must say that she was just at her Best in"What Lies beneath",an excellent Thriller!).
Back to Kate: great Films,great bravura Performances, but didn't make me Tremble,even in the sweet "Finding Neverland"(2003) I was all about Christie and Depp! But,since i Saw her in "The Reader", Maybe it's the Movie too, that I personally loved so Much more than anything Else I've seen Lately,since then.. Kate has been constantly in my Heart!

What Can I Say? Sheer Class, So thin, so Snob, and again so Progressive at the Same time! I love Contradictions! And I certainly Love Gwyneth!
