Meanwhile, unemployed Kishore (Kishore Kumar) decides he will play detective to find the lost girl Radha and her sister, tracks her to the village and falls in love. Romi and his gang also track Roopa and they flee to the city to save her sister, where Ram is employed as a wrestler.

With Kishore being recruited by Gupta to tutor an irresponsible Johar, who instead of becoming an Advocate, has forsaken the worldly possessions, and become a Sadhu. Kishore soon finds out that Johar is pulling wool over his dad's eyes, both become friends and woo two young women, Asha and Lata respectively. The two women live with their respective widower dads, Major Champala Rai and Diwan Jeevanlal. Johar hires a private investigator to try and locate his mom, then elopes with Lata and marries her much to the chagrin of her dad who wants her to marry a man named Pran. Johar does find his mother living with Kishore but before he could inform her that he is her son, she is arrested for killing Jeevanlal, and the eye-witness is none other than Lata.

Pritam and Meena continue meeting and fall in love with each other. When Meena's sister is about to get married, she travels to Poona and that's when Pritam finds out that her train had an accident and she has been listed as one of the dead. Heart-broken and devastated he is severely depressed, until his co-workers decide that he should go for a picnic and this does cheer him considerably. In this cheerful state he returns home and decides to carry on with life without Meena. It is then Meena returns back, quite very much alive, and finds that Pritam is not in a state of mourning but is enjoying life to the fullest. She decides to teach him a lesson that he will never forget. Watch what happens when the lesson commences and what impact this has on our care-free friend - who is currently wooing a dancer by the name of Edna Wong.

In the meantime, Rai's son has grown up to be an arrogant, and a champion boxer. And it is in the boxing ring that both half-brothers will meet again -- for a match of their lives -- as the trophy is none other than the beautiful Mala -- who both love and hope to marry.
