Most Wanted Films That Are Unavailable On DVD
by rivethead808 | created - 13 Feb 2011 | updated - 05 Oct 2011 | PublicThere are a number of these films that have been on my list for about a decade now and still no findey. Im sure I could do the piratebay thing on a number of them, but thats a pain in the ass and Id much rather just have the "real thing" (its not so much an ethics thing as it is an aesthetic thing). Still, I dont mind if people want to email me links to the films or somewhere to find said film (and not for a gajillion dollars!)
NOTE: There are plenty on here that are available on PAL, but Im in the US so that wont work -- need NTSC.

I own this one on VHS. Mondo Trasho will almost assuredly never be put out on DVD (or any other format) ever simply because throughout the entire film, dozens (at least) of obscure 40s and 50s tunes are spliced throughout. Its akin to a DJ megamix by today's standards. For Waters to get the copyright to each and every snippet of song used would be nigh impossible. And forget releasing it without the music...thats like Beavis & Butthead without the videos!
