When Josie and Gridley kiss in the final scene in the park, they are in a different position on the lawn in the close-up than they are in the long shot. They are closer to the driftwood art in the close-up than they are in the long shot.
When Gridley and Josie first arrive at the Mayfield house, the sky is clear and the driveway is dry. Minutes later, when Gridley goes back outside to retrieve his things from the truck, the entire driveway is wet, his truck showing no signs that there was any rain in the intervening minutes.
When Claire speaks to Joseph about the newspaper photographer coming to the party, she says that he is arriving at 6pm. When Claire speaks to the photographer on the telephone, he confirms that he is arriving at 7pm, not 6pm.
Josie parks her father's car on the street when she chases after Gridley. The car is parked further away from the curb in the long shots than in the close-ups. When Richard arrives at the Mayfield house, he tells those inside that "the door was open" implying that's why he walked in without knocking or ringing the doorbell. The door may have been unlocked, but the the door is visibly closed, which is confirmed by click of the door latch when he enters.
Immediately before Josie and Gridley arrive at the high school and immediately after leaving the high school, they are shown walking in front of the same residential property. Both times, they walk in the same direction, when on the return trip they should be walking in the opposite direction.
When Josie responds that Gridley will have "thirty dark suits and thirty matching ties to choose from" in Claire's statement that Gridley can borrow a suit and tie from Joseph, Joseph has already been shown to have and will further show that he has an array of different ties in his wardrobe.
When Gridley walks in on Joseph playing chess by himself, Gridley suggests a move for white which Joseph makes. Joseph tells Gridley to sit down implying to continue the game with him. Gridley, playing white, makes the next move, when it should have been black's move.

The generator, once operating, is never referred to again, it which would have been operating well over twelve hours, if not longer, without either the Mayfields acknowledging that it was in fact Gridley who got their power going again, or the possibility that someone may have needed to refuel it especially in it powering their entire large house.
