Monarch has become desperate on trying to get Ladybug and Cat Noir's miraculouses, every time he comes up with a plan, the results become disastrous for him. Monarch decides to hijack the Tsurugi space jet which is piloted by Claudie Kante by using the power of second chance in order to lure Ladybug and Cat Noir into a trap, he akumatizes A.D.A as Bugfighter in hopes of defeating the heroes, but Monarch keeps on using the snake miraculous repeatedly and his cataclysm injury starts to increase. During Bugfighter's battle with the heroes, she realizes that Claudie is alive and she rejects the megakuma. Realizing he cannot win against the heroes, Monarch uses the power of second chance one final time and he resets the events. Claudie is able to continue piloting the space jet. At Gabriel's atelier, Adrien asks his father if he is okay and Gabriel replies that everything is okay. Adrien leaves his father's atelier and he answers his call to Marinette. Nathalie angrily scolds Gabriel for using the snake miraculous for another one of his foolish plans and his injuries have increased even more. Gabriel asks how much time he has left, causing Nathalie to reply that he has very little time left. In a post-credit scene Ladybug tells Cat Noir that Monarch hasn't used the power of second chance.
