While planning her upcoming wedding, Summer leaves the city and reunites with her childhood friend Dev.
To escape the urban rat race and plan her upcoming wedding, Summer (30s) spends her time at her childhood cottage where she rediscovers her true identity when reconnecting with Dev (30s), a long-time friend, and her grandmother. Now Summer must face a tough decision, to continue living a life where she doesn't feel seen or heard, or listen to her instincts.
Summer is forced to plan her upcoming wedding alone while her fiancé is away on business. Trying to escape the stress of her job and the wedding, she leaves the city for a few weeks to stay at her grandmother's place. There, she's reunited with her childhood friend Dev. Summer and Dev used to spend their summers together as teenagers but had not seen each other for the past 15 years. While hanging out and talking, the two grow close again. Summer starts to rediscover her old self that she had lost during her adult years. As the wedding date approaches, she has to decide between doing what's easy or following her heart.—Patrick Lin
