As the battle between Eren and the warriors rages on, another party makes their move on Marley's Forces that pushes the tide of the battle into a more devastating climax.

Galliard's attempt at eating Eren is thwarted by the efforts of the Survey Corps' Captain Levi. He is quickly swarmed by the enemy, only to be saved by the timely arrival of Pieck and her Panzer Unit. Zeke is quick to join her while Levi rallies his soldiers, ordering that they survive. It is then revealed that Reiner saved himself and Falco from their uncertain fates at the hands of Eren. Falco emerges unscathed, but the partially-transformed Reiner remains unresponsive. Eren attempts to eat Lara Tybur, but her hardened shell proves too strong. He instead decides to exit his Attack Titan and transform once more, noting that his assailant likely has little energy left. During the chaos, Falco relays information on Reiner's condition to an anxious Magath, as well as Gabi, who has stormed onto the battlefield with a rifle in hand. As Zeke throws rubble at the Survey Corps' infantry, Pieck comments on Marley's inevitable control over the battlefield, as well as their enemy's lack of resources. Zeke praises her awareness, while also declaring that Eren Jeager is "not his enemy", and that Levi comes first. Meanwhile, the Marleyean Navy is frantically preparing reinforcements to assist Magath's forces in the Liberio Internment Zone. As this occurs, a disguised Armin Arlert transforms into the Colossal Titan, obliterating the naval fleet as well as the city's port. This explosion catches the attention of the titan combatants, leading a furious Galliard into abandoning his position to attack Eren. This moment of vulnerability is quickly exploited by Levi, who lands a fatal attack on Zeke in front of horrified onlookers. This decisive blow seemingly kills Zeke. The rest of the scouts quickly rush in to engage Pieck in combat. While she is able to fend most of her enemies away thanks to her Panzer Unit's machine gun gear, Sasha manages to kill one of the gunners, Carlo, with a precise rifle shot to his head. Pieck loses her calm state of mind and lunges towards the sniper, granting Jean a chance to blow off part of Pieck's armor using a thunder spear. The rest of the soldiers swiftly incinerate the rest of the Panzer Unit, sending a fatally wounded Pieck tumbling down to the streets below. Jean attempts to finish her off using his other thunder spear but misses his shot. Magath and his soldiers defend Pieck, granting Falco and Gabi enough time to escort her to safety. Armin is then seen emerging from his titan over the destroyed port. As the Survey Corps' stolen airship flies overhead, he looks on amongst the destruction with a dismayed expression, pondering to himself if this was what Bertholdt Hoover experienced during his time as Colossal Titan. He then reconvenes with Commander Hange Zoe, who issues a retreat order for their forces. Galliard attempts to attack the airship but is quickly incapacitated by Mikasa. Eren uses the mutilated body of the warrior's titan form to break through Lara's protective hardening. This allows Eren to eat her remains and gain the power of the War Hammer Titan. Gabi and Falco desperately cry out for Reiner to help Galliard before Eren kills him as well. A disgruntled and exhausted Reiner finally transforms into the Armored Titan, frustratingly questioning why his comrades won't let him die.
