This has to be probably one of the best anime series I've seen in the past six years; not because of the action (of which it has a plausible amount to share), but because of the intricate and beautiful story line that is built up carefully along the 12 episodes that this wonderful experience lasts. This anime is in most of its composition a heart-touching romantic plot, meaning that most adrenaline lovers out there will surely be turned down from going any further than the first 3 episodes or so. But for those who enjoy the ride and stay until the end, they will surely be rewarded with more than they could ever expect.
"Kannazuki no miko" is a love story anime that is worth noticing over other series and definitely pays off for those who truly appreciate it. There are also other aspects to relish about it, such as some of its cultural references towards the Japanese folklore or its majestic use of ambiance to set the moods in accordingly. The drawings and the music are pretty good elements too, surpassing that of any average anime.
A definite 10/10

I really liked this. The story started kind of cute with some cliche villains, but as I kept on watching it developed a lot. It was sad to see how fate was cruel to Chikane and Himeko like it tried to do everything to tear them apart. Only at the very end, we see that their story does indeed end happily.
I loved the robots and the action scenes, they were a pretty cool addition and not something you would usually see in a Yuri anime. I liked Soma as well, but only as a friend and protector of both priestesses. It did bother me a little that the anime kept on pushing him and Himeko together plenty of times. But even so, I was really happy that in the end, Himeko realized the one she loved was Chikane and not him. And maybe in a way, it was a good thing that he was such an important character with a strong presence because when Himeko rejected him, it showed how much she actually cared for the beautiful moon girl and that she would choose her no matter what. Nothing like way, way too many yuri animes that focus on girls getting in love with girls only when there are no or barely any males around (like that stupid all-girls school trope). This felt much more real, their love much more powerful. I liked it and I definitely recommend.

When I saw the first volume of this anime on DVD on sale at a Music Store,I had to decide if I should see this series,or not. But after reading about it,I decided to buy it,and it was truly awesome. It was pretty cool with the 2 girls, and the boy with his giant robot. My favorite characters in this show are Himeko, and Souma.I do believe they are meant for each other. The robots in this series do almost look like the Gundams. Souma's robot is very cool, and powerful. But what this is really about,it's about Love,Reliability, and bravery. It's important to be with that person, and be kind to them. Reliability is to protect those who are in danger, and need help. Bravery is to never give up in what you believe in and to fight back. But however, this series is one of a kind. So if you see something cool, then this is the series to see. It's very cool.

Grew up with yuri when I was just 16. I love the anime and it help me grow as a person. Today I'm a 30 year old engineering student. A woman to its full extend. Yuri help me come in terms with my sexuality. Ayako did an incredible job voicing Chikane in Japanese. It's her birthday on March 31. Noriko Shitaya voice Himeko and she did an excellent job. I was surprise the English dub was so good Michelle Ruff who also voices Rukia in Bleach did an incredible job voicing Chikane. Stephanie did well voicing Himeko. It's a beautiful girl love story. I don't regret ever getting into anime when I was in high school.

I forgot how good this one was but thankfully 2020 gave me opportunity to rebinge it and cry over it all over again.
One of the dearest things to my heart in this life for sure!
