I've only had Omni 2 for a couple of months now (Star Choice always had Omni 1, but not 2 until recently), and as soon as I noticed "Wok With Yan" was being played, I've tried not to miss a single episode. The show currently airs Monday to Thursday at 12:00 PM EST, by the way.
I always remembered that it was one of my favorite shows when I was young, and now I know why. Stephen Yan is a very funny (and often hyper!) man. I love the energy level of the show, especially the early ones. It's also fun to hear his pop culture references from the time and some of his more frequent tendencies (lots of stuff about pressure, saying "isn't it?" totally out of context, and giving the garbage to his "brother" under the counter). The recipes give us great tips and ideas, too!
I love this show and hope Omni 2 keeps playing it for a long time to come! :)

I actually met this guy and he was a very nice guy just like you would expect from watching this show! It was a very simple cooking show and I think his skills were too high and his communication too fast to actually be a great tool for learning to cook the food he made (which always looked amazing and his audience always loved). But this show is worth watching for him alone. He's very funny and likable.
This is one of the best cooking shows ever to be put on TV in my opinion. He was not just a great cook but very funny and super nice, always smiling and full of energy and making sure us viewers were following along with his cooking and also that the live audience members who got to try his food were enjoying themselves and liking it. Great guy, great show!
I remember watching this show with my grandpa
We even tried cooking some of his recipes

I was recently watching wok with yan on omni 2 during lunch and Stephen yan is so funny. He always blabs out stuff from no where and he actually know's how to cook. He is also a better chef then Martin Yan. Too bad he doesn't make any new shows. He also knows how to garnish his food using only his hands. He also gets his recipes by just making it up but martin yan that guy makes a fool of himself, isn't funny and he usually gets his recipe from some cheap Chinatown store around the globe. Its also very funny how he always has a new apron every episode involving something to do with the wok. Its especially funny how is always uses the term holy smoke and one time he mistaken's crab as crap and he said the soup was filled with crap. If only the guy could make more episode
