Madame Olympe Maxime
- [Harry joins Cedric, Fleur and Krum in a room beneath Hogwarts; Dumbledore rushs in followed by Moody, Snape, Karkaroff, Barty Crouch and Madame Maxime]
- Albus Dumbledore: Harry!
- Olympe Maxime: I protest!
- Albus Dumbledore: [grabs Harry and pins him to the wall] Harry, did you put your name in the Goblet of Fire?
- Harry Potter: No, sir!
- Albus Dumbledore: Did you ask one of the older students to do it for you?
- Harry Potter: No, sir!
- Albus Dumbledore: [points frantically at Harry] You're *absolutely sure*?
- Harry Potter: Yes! Yes, sir.
- Olympe Maxime: But of course he is lying.
- Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody: The *hell* he is! The Goblet of Fire is an exceptionally powerful magical object! Only an exceptionally powerful Confundus Charm could've hoodwinked it! Magic *way* beyond the talents of a fourth year!
- Igor Karkaroff: [steps in front of him] You seem have given this a fair bit of thought, Mad-Eye!
- Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody: It was once my job to think as dark wizards do, Karkaroff. Perhaps you remember.
- Albus Dumbledore: [barges between them] This doesn't help, Alastor! Leave this to you, Barty.
- Barty Crouch: The rules are absolute. The Goblet of Fire constitutes a binding magical contact. Mr. Potter has no choice. He is, as of tonight... a Triwizard champion!
- [all eyes look to Harry, who stares in fear]
- [Hagrid and Madame Maxime are strolling through a corridor]
- Rubeus Hagrid: I take after my mum. Though I didn't know her very well. She left when I was about three.
- Olympe Maxime: Oh.
- Rubeus Hagrid: No, not the maternal sort, her. Broke me dad's heart, though. He was a tiny little fella, my dad. I could pick him up at the age of six with one hand and put him up on the dresser.
- [he chuckles; Maxime bursts out laughing]
- Rubeus Hagrid: He laughed so hard at that. Very funny.
- [Maxime reaches down to pick something from Hagrid's beard; she pops it in her mouth and licks her fingers seductively]
- Rubeus Hagrid: And then he died just when I started school, so... So I sort of had to make me own way, as it were.
- [happily]
- Rubeus Hagrid: But enough of me. What about you?
