On a remote island, scientist Doctor Kirk has been exploring the deeper reaches of science. After disaster strikes, commando Regina and her three teammates are deployed on the island to search for answers.

A survival horror, action adventure, science fiction game set in the near future of 2009. A special commando unit is sent to a remote island, where a mad scientist, Doctor Kirk, has been researching a way to harvest energy directly from air, causing an unimaginable disaster. Their goal is to locate a missing government agent sent to infiltrate the facility and spy on Kirk and his secretive dealings with the military. The team is led by Gail, a tough military type, but the player takes the role of his second in command, a capable redhead female commando named Regina. The team also includes Rick, a compassionate African American computer technician, and Cooper, who immediately gets separated from the group and eaten by a T-Rex. Regina will have to navigate the dinosaur infested research facility in search of key cards, ammo and medpacks, as well as survivors, diary entries and a way to escape the island. During the game, Regina will also solve puzzles, shoot or run away from several deadly dinosaur species, and get to choose the way of doing certain missions, which will directly determine which of the three endings the player will get. Just like in the original Resident Evil, the camera angles are fixed, the save spots limited and the inventory system has a finite amount of space.
