A group of sinners involved in interconnected tales of murder, revenge, deceit and adultery all meet at the Gates of Hell.

A graduate-school student has a friend who is pure evil. His friend and he are out driving one night when they hit a drunkard and the friend leaves the accident victim to die. The student's life then goes downhill from there.—Horror-Fan

Set in 60's Tôkyô tracks a handsome student in love with his theology professor's daughter. After attending his teacher's vivid lecture on Hell in various religions, the sensitive collegian's life spirals downward. Riding with an irresponsible fellow student, they run down a drunken yakuza, staggering on a dark side road, but keep driving. The yakuza's mother and his girlfriend swear vengeance.—David Stevens
