Certain models of LG smart TV have already gotten the new update with Google Cast included.

Google Cast can be an incredibly helpful feature for people wanting to watch a video they found on their phones on the bigger screen of a TV. While similar to Apple’s AirPlay, Google Cast attempts to make it smoother to search for video on an easier-to-use phone interface. Fortunately for many cord-cutters, Google Cast support is now coming to additional models of LG smart TVs, after rolling out on those devices for the first time earlier this year.

Key Details: Some LG smart TVs made in 2023 will soon be able to use Google Cast. LG first added Google Cast support to TVs in January, and all new sets will have it. Thus far, the LG C3 and G3 models from 2023 are the first to get the update with Google Cast.
