‘Midnight Sun’ – Netflix Announces ‘Twilight’ Animated Series from Edward Cullen’s Perspective
Released back in 2020, Stephenie Meyer’s novel Midnight Sun retold the story of Twilight from Edward Cullen’s perspective, and a Netflix animated series adaptation is in the works.
The project has been given a straight-to-series order at Netflix, Variety reports.
Sinead Daly (“Raised by Wolves”) will serve as writer and executive producer on the series.
Stephenie Meyer is also on board as an executive producer.
In the 2020 novel Midnight Sun, “Stephenie Meyer makes a triumphant return to the world of Twilight with the iconic love story of Bella and Edward told from the vampire’s point of view.”

“When Edward Cullen and Bella Swan met in Twilight, an iconic love story was born. But until now, fans have heard only Bella’s side of the story. At last, readers can experience Edward’s version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun.
