Despite Fox’s best efforts, it is looking increasingly unlikely Terra Nova will find a new home for its potential second season now that negotiations with Netflix have broken down. I had very strong feeling things would turn out this way. Talks have been going on for two weeks and no deal was made. Terra Nova is just too expensive a show to justify on a big network like Fox, let alone a small streaming service like Netflix. I think it’s time we said our goodbyes to Terra Nova.

Unfortunately, as Deadline pointed out, Fox hasn’t come to terms with Terra Nova’s demise just yet as it continues its search for a new network to resurrect the series.
