Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the current plan is for Shawn Michaels to referee the Triple H vs. The Undertaker re-match at Wrestlemania 28, the second main event of the show behind The Rock vs. John Cena. The idea is that Michaels being the ref, aside from adding an extra spice of considerable star power to the show, will add intrigue to the match in that Hbk failed twice to break the streak and Hhh once last year, and now they could controversially team-up to screw Taker out of his marquee achievement. Very smart move WWE.

Because of the drawing power behind a Hhh vs. The Undertaker rematch, there is now the idea that perhaps The Rock vs. John Cena should be for the WWE Title, rather than having that be the third main event down the card between the two bouts above. Cm Punk vs. Chris Jericho is still favourite...
