'Enlisted's' Parker Young: 'Geoff Stults can do no wrong in my eyes'
Zap2it: On Fox's Friday comedy "Enlisted," you play Pvt. Randy Hill, the youngest of three brothers -- behind Geoff Stults and Chris Lowell -- in the Army, stationed at the same base in Florida. How are you getting along with your TV brothers? Parker Young: I'm so happy here. I feel like it's too good to be true. I'm in a bar [set] here; we were marching with guns earlier. My brothers, I adore. They're like my real brothers.

Zap2it: Do you have a favorite?

Parker Young: Geoff and Chris are both equally fun to hang out with, but Geoff and I get along really good. We've really allowed ourselves to fall into this brother relationship. He can do no wrong in my eyes. I don't look at him as some random actor that I met in Hollywood. I look at him as a brother.

'Enlisted': Geoff Stults and Parker Young's naked hijinks
In last week's episode of the Friday Fox comedy "Enlisted," Army Sgt. Pete Hill (Geoff Stults) moved into an Airstream trailer off-base to gain respite from both his younger brothers -- all three are stationed at the same Florida base -- and the rest of the platoon.

To his surprise, shortly after settling in, Pete found youngest brother Randy (Parker Young) using his bathroom and wandering naked around the trailer.

Apparently, something similar happened in real life.

"The long and the short of it is," says Stults during filming at the show's sets on the 20th Century Fox lot in Los Angeles, "one day, whatever time it was, it was late, I heard the washer go off. I was in bed, walked downstairs, put a load from the washer into the dryer so I could go back to sleep, or to finally go to bed. I think I was waiting for it,...

'Enlisted' series premiere: Geoff Stults finally gets to be the big brother
Geoff Stults is sitting at the bar in the memorabilia-stuffed set for the Claymore (named after either a Scottish two-handled long sword or an anti-personnel mine), a watering hole serving the soldiers of Florida Army base Fort McGee in the Fox comedy "Enlisted," premiering Friday, Jan. 10.

He plays Staff Sgt. Pete Hill, a soldier who was on the fast track until a mistake overseas got him sent stateside to Fort McGee, where his younger brothers, Derrick (Chris Lowell) and Randy (Parker Young), are also stationed.

The Hill brothers serve in the Rear Detachment (Rear D) unit, composed of soldiers left behind when others deployed. They mow lawns, sort mail, maintain equipment and find lost dogs. But their main job is to look after the families of deployed troops, which can be emotionally taxing.

So Rear D sometimes cuts the tension with some hijinks. On this particular day, Randy is directing...

Greg Kinnear Is Coming To TV
Richard Roxburgh in Rake (2010)
Fox has picked up four dramas, including Greg Kinnear's "Rake," for the 2013-2014 season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Rake" is Kinnear's broadcast TV debut, with Miranda Otto and John Ortiz co-starring. According to Deadline, "Rake" is being considered for a midseason launch in the vein of "The Following," one of the few hits of last season. Kinnear will play a "House"-esque criminal defense lawyer named Keegan Deane, described as "brilliant and frustratingly charming ... whose chaotic and self-destructive personal life often gets in the way of his professional one. He takes on the cases that nobody else will touch, ruled by a resolute optimism, belief in justice and dogged determination to defend those who seem beyond redemption -- much like himself." Sam Raimi directed the pilot, and the show was created by Peter Duncan, who came up with the original Australian version.

Also picked up is "Sleepy Hollow,...

'The Finder' series finale: George joins Geoff Stults for brotherly bonding
The South Los Angeles neighborhood of Baldwin Hills is known for many things, including midcentury-modern homes, a huge public park, a scenic overlook and working oil wells.

In among the oil wells, which are scattered across a series of hills and ravines, connected by unpaved roads, is a patch of open ground upon which the crew of Fox's comedy-drama "The Finder" has constructed the outdoor set for the Ends of the Earth Bar (the interior is located on the 20th Century Fox lot in West Los Angeles).

It's supposed to be somewhere in the Florida Keys, so along with a boat and various other props, there's a lot of potted vegetation tucked here and there. In addition, on this particular sunny day on set, there's a horse.

There is also 100 percent more Stults fun than usual, and that starts with series star Geoff Stults dropping his pants in front of...

'The Finder' hires George Stults for some brotherly love
The casting department at "The Finder" had it easy for their latest guest star. An upcoming episode of the new Fox show will introduce us to a new character -- Langston Sherman, the brother of the titular finder, Walter.

So, what do you do when you're trying to find somebody to play Geoff Stults' brother? Why, call his actual brother, of course! It must make things a lot easier that George Stults is also an actor, and in fact has played the onscreen big brother to his real-life little brother before.

According to TVLine, George will appear as Langston in a late March episode of the series. Apparently, he'll come to town to ask Walter to find their estranged mother so their dying father can see her one last time.

This will be the second time the Stults brothers play onscreen siblings -- they starred as the Kincaid siblings...

The Finder TV Show Finally Finds Saffron Burrows’ Replacement(s)
Last we heard on the topic of Fox’s “Bones” spin-off show “The Finder”, Saffron Burrows had been mystifyingly fired for being too, well, Saffron Burrows, I guess. Her accent, we hear, was the problem. Which is way odd, because Saffron Burrows has played Plenty of Americans, and like most British actors, she can switch that accent on and off pretty much at will. In any case, Burrows is out, and TVLine reports that Mercedes Masohn and Maddie Hasson are in. Masohn (top left), last seen on “Chuck” and “Quarantine 2″, will play Isabel Zambada, a Deputy U.S. Marshal and love interest to George Stults’ titular Finder, Walter Sherman. 16-year-old Maddie Hasson, meanwhile, will play Willa, a con girl from a family of cons who lends her skills to Walter and his “legal advisor” Leo (Michael Clarke Duncan) to solve cases. Hopefully at least one of them will have some...

Necrosis Moves Full Steam Ahead: A Movie Review
Director: Jason Robert Stephens.

Writer: Robert Michael Ryan, and Jason Robert Stephens.

Necrosis is a Brink DVD release that stars James Kyson Lee (Heroes), George Stults (7th Heaven), Tiffany, Penny Drake, and Danielle De Luca (Naked Fear). Already close to an April 20th, 2010 DVD and cable release Necrosis utilizes pacing effectively in this indie thriller. Action abounds in the film, which only mildly stumbles in the sound department.

The film attaches itself the the legend of the Donner party who were a group of 1800s travellers that were westward bound. Unfortunately, the Donner party became trapped in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and fed upon each other in a bloody orgy of cannibalism. Many of the characters in Necrosis do not fare much better as character Jerry becomes possessed by either the ghosts of the Donner party or by his paranoid schizophrenia. Either way few come out of this picture alive!

Paranoia Fest: Review of Donner Party horror Necrosis
Year: 2008

Release date: Unknown

Review by: cyberhal

Rating: 5 out of 10

We’ve followed this film since November 2007, and I was looking forward to seeing it debut at the newly minted Paranoia film festival. There’s nowt like a ghost movie in the middle of nowhere. Necrosis is a supernatural update of the already spooky Donner party tale, in which six friends go to stay up in a mountain cabin and get trapped in a snowstorm. It turns out that the bad weather is least of their worries. The bad news is that despite the great story potential, location, and a fairly spooky Donner ghoul with Axe, this film is cursed by a lack of suspense, a weak script and poor execution.

The Donner party incident, for all of you outside the States, is the true...

Assorted Creature Features Hitting DVD
Looking for DVD news about upcoming creature features starring predators of the sea duking it out, Dmx fighting a giant snake, intergalactic beatnik zombie invaders, and good ol' psycho Sasquatch bloodying up the forest? You've come to the right place today.

We begin with the most important motion picture on the list, possibly the most important motion picture of a generation. I, of course, speak of Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus, The Asylum's non-mockbuster blockbuster due May 19th that pits a mega-sized shark against a giant octopus off the coast of California with Lorenzo Lamas and Debbie Gibson caught in the crossfire. This is the very reason we watch cinema in the first place.

Further details can be found in a rather popular article I wrote about Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus back in January. There's really nothing new to add at this time aside from the unfortunate reality that...

Tiffany Goes Horror in Necrosis
Wait a second, wait a second; first she gets naked, now she’s in a horror movie? Is it possible that 80’s pop icon Tiffany is actually … cool? I guess in this crazy mixed-up world almost anything is possible, no matter how far-fetched it may seem.

The film is called Necrosis, and it also stars James Kyson Lee of “Heroes”, George Stults of “7th Heaven” (don’t pretend like you didn’t watch it), Penny Drake from Zombie Strippers and features the one and only Michael Berryman in a cameo. A pretty bizarre lineup if you ask me, but then the film doesn’t sound exactly normal either.

7th Heaven: Prayers Are Answered - Season 11 is Coming!
Just days after the WB series finale, it looks like the Camdens will be back for a record-breaking eleventh season. Remarkably, the new CW network has reportedly agreed to purchase thirteen new episodes of 7th Heaven.

In an article published today in Mediaweek: "With the merging of the WB with Upn, and an influx of corporate cash in the new partnership of CBS and Warner Bros, a decision was made to bring back the WB's most-watched show on the new CW." 7th Heaven: Camdens Say Goodbye? Maybe Not!
Though the WB has been promoting this season of 7th Heaven as the series' last since November 2005, the Camden family may not be ready for the TV afterlife just yet.

With the upcoming CW's fall schedule still under wraps and undecided, there have been discussions about family drama 7th Heaven returning for an 11th season. Castmembers Stephen Collins, Catherine Hicks, Beverley Mitchell and George Stults have all reportedly been asked if they would be open to returning for another season.

No financial offers have been made but the new network is probably holding off making a final decision on the fate of the WB's longest-running series until execs make final decisions on the four dramatic pilots that they have in development. The CW will be looking to fill over a dozen hours of primetime each week and up to 10 hours of that will come from shows currently on either the WB or Upn.
