Once broke several of her toes when she kicked a bazooka out of a stunt man's hands in the film, Octopussy - Operazione piovra (1983). The gun, in question, was meant to be a plastic mock-up but it was not switched out for the action shot.

The James Bond film producers had first seen her playing Greta Garbo in The Silent Lovers (1980) and later on a poster of her sitting on a tiger. They originally considered her for the James Bond film Solo per i tuoi occhi (1981) but cast her in the role of Magda in a different Bond film Octopussy - Operazione piovra (1983) without auditioning her.

In 2003, she defended Arnold Schwarzenegger to "Los Angeles Times" publication against claims that he groped women. She said she had known him for 20 years, and that he never groped her, and that she would vote for him for political office. She also said that she was working as a real estate agent, in addition to being an actress.

Claimed that she was blackballed by Hollywood producer David L. Wolper, when she rejected his invitation to be his girlfriend after they worked together on The Silent Lovers (1980), and she was sad that her career in Hollywood stalled.
