Cynthia Marie Ettinger

Is the Co-Artistic Director of The Actors' Gang, a theater company located in Culver City, CA.

Was the original Martha Kent on the series Smallville (2001). However, before the pilot aired, her scenes were re shot with Annette O'Toole, who eventually played that role on the series.

As a Vanguard Member of The Actors' Gang, she teaches classes in The Actors' Gang signature style of acting. The style grew out of Commedia dell'Arte and all actors work in one out of four states of emotion: Sadness, Happiness, Anger, or Fear.

Married Wally Kurth on 5/27/90, at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. Her father walked her down the aisle in a dress uniform because he is a retired colonel. She and Kurth have since divorced.
