Flora and Helia are one of the main couples of "Winx Club". Flora is the Fairy of Nature and Helia is the artistic member of the Specialists.

Flora and Helia first met shortly into the beginning of the second season. Being the only member of the Winx who didn't have a boyfriend, Flora started to feel lonely and began to wish she had someone special. Helia is the nephew of Headmaster Saladin and a former Red Fountain student who left to attend art school, but returned to attend Red Fountain's re-opening ceremony. Flora and Helia instantly developed strong romantic feelings for each other from the moment they met when Flora complimented Helia's artwork. Flora's feelings for Helia were soon deepened when he saved her from being attacked by a monster during the re-opening ceremony. Ever since, Flora and Helia had found themselves falling deeply in love with each other, but both were too shy to confess their feelings. Due to her shy nature, Flora often had trouble confessing her love to Helia and was unsure if he felt the same way, but found comfort in confiding in Aisha and Chatta who constantly encourage her to admit her feelings to him. Helia's feelings for Flora also grew stronger over time to the point he decided to return to Red Fountain to be closer to her and often wrote poetry about his desire to be with Flora.

Throughout the second season, Flora's love for Helia grew stronger, constantly writing his name in her notebook, fantasying of them together and even attempted to confess her feelings by writing a love letter to Helia, but failed to give it to him. Towards the end of the season, when the Pixies needed a special medicine to cure them from the Flower of Life, Flora, Aisha and the Specialists traveled to Pixie Village only to find the Flower had fallen ill due to a previous attack by Icy. Flora was tasked to heal it, but despite her best efforts it seem she was unable to help. However, it wasn't until Helia's encouragement did Flora finally gain confidence in herself and succeeded in healing the Flower of Life. Once the Flower was healed and the Pixies were cured, the Specialists decided it was time to leave, but due to their shyness, Flora and Helia were unable to say goodbye to each other.

With encouragement from Chatta, however, Flora finally gathered the courage to confess her love to Helia and called out to him before his departure. Helia returned and Flora finally began to admit her feelings, but were interrupted by Sky, forcing Helia to leave. However, after one last urge from Chatta and with the advice to trust her heart, Flora finally and boldly confessed her love to Helia who reciprocated her feelings and blew her a kiss. In the process, Flora also earned her Charminx power, revealing her final test was to gather the courage to admit her feelings to Helia. Not long after, Helia and Flora took part in the final battle against Lord Darkar and during this time, Flora apologizes to Helia for the time she wasted telling him how she felt. Helia reassured Flora with the promise of a future together and boldly shared their first kiss. By the end of the season, Flora and Helia became an official couple with a strong and happy future ahead for them.

Since then, Flora and Helia have developed a strong, loving, serious and committed relationship throughout the series and are one of the few couples who don't constantly argue or have obstacles that often test their relationship. Flora and Helia also share a lot in common such as their love of nature, both being pacifists and are considered the most mature members of their groups. Flora and Helia often serve as the voice of reason and often help the other couples with their relationship issues, particularly Musa and Riven during season 4 and tried to help bring them back together. However, Flora and Helia are also somewhat an under appreciated couple in the series and often times don't always get a lot of focus or attention compared to the other couples until the fifth season.

In season 5, Flora and Helia began to face trouble in their relationship in the form of Krystal, the Princess of Linaphea who was also revealed to be Helia's childhood friend. Since the beginning of the season, Krystal began to interfere in Flora and Helia's relationship, appearing she harbored romantic feelings for Helia since she always acted extremely affectionate around him and often took him away from Flora while also completely oblivious to their relationship. Flora quickly became upset and jealous whenever she saw Helia and Krystal spending time together which grew stronger over the course of the season as she continued to witness intimate moments between them. Slowly yet surely, Flora started to believe Helia didn't want to be with her anymore and suspected he wanted to be with Krystal. Eventually, after witnessing Krystal and Helia sharing an embrace, Flora truly started to believe she was really going to lose Helia. Although her friends assure her of Helia's love and encouraged her to talk to him, Flora's doubts still remained about the future of her and Helia's relationship.

Unknown to Flora, Helia did not harbor any feelings for Krystal and wanted to talk to Flora and assure her nothing was going on between them, but always missed his chance. Helia knew he had to do something, otherwise he would lose Flora for good and eventually began to devise a secret plan to reconcile with her. During this time, Krystal finally realized how she was interfering in Flora and Helia's relationship and quickly became filled with guilt on how she unintentionally came between them. By the end of the season, Krystal apologized to Flora and reassured her of Helia's love, but despite her apology, it still wasn't enough to convince Flora. However, much to Flora's surprise, Helia made a grand romantic gesture with help from the rest of the Winx. Helia professed his true love for Flora and the couple shared a loving and heartfelt dance, with the magic and power of their love levitating them into air. At long last, Flora and Helia finally and truly reconciled with Flora also declaring her everlasting love to Helia by the end of the season.
