The humor in this show is way too broad, the acting rather atrocious and the laugh track is off-putting in this day and age. I normally really like Nathan Lane and Matt Bomer, but they are not doing a great job with the material they're given, and I simply cannot understand why a hot young guy like Matt's character chooses to live with two old queens in Palm Springs. Linda Lavin is excellent, however, RIP, so it's a real shame they won't be able to bring her back if there's a second season. There is a lot of potential in the set-up and, since I'm only three episodes in so far, maybe it will improve.
