      Damon references How I Met Your Mother. How I Met Your Mother was a sitcom that debuted on CBS in 2005. The show is set up with the main character in the year 2030, explaining to his children the events that led to him meeting their mother.

      According to the vampire mythology, the longer one is a vampire the stronger they become. Isobel had only been a vampire for a few years. Neither Stefan nor especially Damon would have been remotely intimidated by Isobel or her minions. They had been vampires for around 145 years at this point and would have easily defeated all of them.

    the penultimate episode of vampire diaries was great

    First off it was a great episode to set up the season finale, I loved the episode but it was a bit weaker than previous episodes, it was fun seeing Elena face off with her mother and finding out Damon is in love with elena
